My mind wanders incredibly when I'm bored. I'm very focused normally, but I think I have some weird sort of internal ADHD, because I cannot keep my mind occupied on one thing when I'm playing the waiting game. Which is the worst game in the world by the way, no fun at all.

Example: I pick up a reader's digest. I start reading it, then start thinking about all the things in my life that relate to what I just read (usually a two-page ad with three words "LIKE A ROCK" or something) and before I know it I'm staring blankly at the page while my mind just slips from subject to subject without spending more than a few seconds on one thing.

That's so on the mark it's scary. Even the origami. XD "Shit, where's that page of notes...is it the crane or the frog?"

I actually don't stop at Sudoku. I've been doing crossword puzzles and all the other shit on the typical newspaper games page for many years now. If I'm bored enough I will attempt the fucking quote acrostic. There's nothing like the feeling of accomplishment I get from finishing one of those. Crosswords are my favorite by far.

Yeah, I do the crossword as well, but I usually only really go through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday never end up getting finished - I can get through parts and have corners done, but there've only been a few times that I've finished the entire thing. I just don't have the patience to figure it out most of the time.

I enjoy the Guardians crosswords, it's just the right amount of difficulty to keep me entertained :) Sudokus are evil things, I can never put them down until I complete them.

I tend to do Newsday if I can get my hands on it, though Monday through Wednesday I basically get out the stopwatch and time myself. Thursday and Friday usually have a corner that I have to put some though into. Saturday is the "stumper" puzzle, basically a lot of long, tough words with no theme answers. Sunday is the most fun, because it's huge but generally no harder than Friday.

The cryptoquote is always gold, because the difficulty is pretty random. God I love cryptoquote.

I play Quadrapop on my phone, which is basically a dolled-up version of tetris. Either that or listening to music. On some days I can just stand around waiting for something without needing any stimulus at all, because I'm just blank. I wish I could do it all the time though because I'm usually impatient and restless.

If I'm at school, I mostly draw doodles. Anything else is a power-nap.

I usually read. During my lunch break at work I'll play my GBA (I don't bring my DS because I'm afraid someone'll steal it) or read old magazines that are lying around. If I'm at school and are bored, I'll doodle or write random things. Nothing too interesting.

Unfortunately I have some bad habits I do when I'm bored. I grind my teeth, chew the inside of my mouth, and make my legs go up and down as if i was playing the drums. It gets really distracting, actually.

If I have the DS or the PSP with me, then I'm all good at waiting. But in other cases like in church where I cant whip out my portables, then I'd just.... listen, or look at the fantastic scenery outside the chapel (our's is at the top of a mountain, so yeah, excellent view).

I tend to zone out a bit. Occasionally I'll do a Sudoku, Kakuro or a crossword puzzle, but it depends on whether or not I have one on hand.

In school I usually just doodle on the edges of my notebook around my notes.

I write stories in another notebook I tag with me to class. It helps keep my mind going, as opposed to putting me to sleep. T_T

Normally I just sit and smoke, but if for some reason I can't smoke I just start to go through episodes of MST3K in my head.
