I think I can only remember back to when I was three or four, back to my ECE years. I remember that I was always so eager to come inside the school before everyone else because I would love playing on the piano. My teacher would take special care that I would finish the little scraps of lessons I had before everyone else came in and banged on the keys randomly. Thanks to her I started pianio lessons, and thanks to her I continued them for the next 13 years and became really good at piano ^^.

This won't make much of a post since I really don't remember all that much about it...but my earliest memory (not sure what age I was) is sitting on my grandpa's lap asking him some questions, in the recliner that's still in the same spot at my grandma's house.

My earliest memory is of my Dad's best man for his wedding that came back 3 years after the wedding when I was 8 months old. all I remember is that he had a motorcycle...(it was only when I was older that I knew what a motorcycle was) but from then on he was known as the motorcycle man!

My earliest memory is lying in my cot crying just after I had woke up. It's a short memory, only a few seconds, but it's my earliest.

What's weird, is that the cot was situated bang next to my mum and dad's bed in their old room, which is now my room, and I am sitting roughly where my cot was situated right now, from what I can rememeber anyway.

when I lit a bundle of newspapers on fire under a wooden chair when I was 4...my bro was 3 and he was just watching me do it...our mom was in another room lol

I'm not sure if this is a real memory or just a dream, but the earliest I think was in someone's back garden. I just remember running around a bit with my younger brother.

The first vivid memory was when I was at play-school, playing with a giant-sized Thomas The Tank Engine toy. I got to a corner of the room when a carer came up to me, took it away and told me off... I had apparenly 'stolen' it off another kid. I was proper upset :(

How did you light it?

I have two very distinct memories... one is when I was about 3, I remember a small neighbor girl who had a lot of playground-type toys, and I'd always wander over to her yard and play. The other is when I was 6, I asked my brother for a piggy-back ride and he wouldn't do it, so I kept bugging him. Finally he let me, but then he didn't hold on to me and I fell backward and hit my head on the floor.

Neither event is really remarkable, but for some reason they stick out to me. I think I remember my first attempt at playing video games when I was 3, as well, but not well enough to say which game it was. I do remember it was on an atari 500 though.

Call me crazy, but I remember when I was around 1-2 years old, I remember that Ronald McDonald scares the hell out of me >_<

Mine dates back to the days of being a baby.

I remember first switching from a crib to a bed, scared the hell out of me. But I have images of when I was sleeping in the crib once, only to wake up and start crying until my parents came to check up on me.

The earliest childhood memory I can recall is hiding under a table on the first day of pre-school and refusing to come out until my parents came to collect me. I was pretty scared and refused to go back for several weeks.

i remember my first time to York Beach in Maine, when i was about two...all i remember is the sensation of the undertow trying to pull me out to sea

I remember lots of things clear as day from when I was 2 and 3, but the one I always have regarded as being my first memory is when I flew from San Diego to Miami to meet some relatives. I remember the colour and pattern of the walkway that led to the Delta plane, how I was frustrated that I could only see clouds the entire way, what the lobby of the hotel was like, what I thought about seeing my mom's cousins for the first time, what playing on the beach was like, and what I wore. It always irked me that psychology classes taught me that people can never truly remember anything before age 6.

When I first saw my younger sister for the first time. I was 3 years old.

My earliest memory is probably my grand parents buying me a "Sub-Mariner" comic. I was maybe around 3 or 4. I remember it because it had some woman who turns into a monster on the cover, and it freaked me out. When I was checking out some old comics in my local comic store a few years ago, I remember seeing that issue and those memories came back to me. Of course, I had to buy that issue!

I suppose my earliest memory is seeing Who Framed Roger Rabbit with my older sister and my mother. I was three years old when it came out. I don't remember the day in particular, but I do remember the three of us going to McDonald's after the film and I came home with a giant cup with an illustration of Roger Rabbit and Bob Hoskins in Benny the Cab with Jessica Rabbit standing alongside of the highway. I still have that cup -- oh yeah, and a bendable Roger Rabbit doll!

Earliest memory is when I was probably almost a year old. My father, mother, and I were huddled in a bathtub. I don't remember much else except for a distorted view through the bathroom's window of a tornado going by. Use to give me nightmares when I was young.

The next memory is when I was a few years old. I was at some amusement park and my dad asked me if I wanted to get on one of the rides with my sister but I said no even though I actually wanted on. Everything else is a blur.

Teddy!

I remember (think I was 3) my godmother teasing me, holding my teddy in my face and making noises and then pulling it back when I tried to get it. She probably thought it was all cute and funny. But I didnt!

The earliest memory I can recall is going to the city zoo when I was about three years old. I only distinctly remember one particular section of the zoo, and it was the fish pond. There were all sorts of brightly-colored fish. My mom gave me some fish food so I could feed the fish. Shortly after I dropped some food in the water, a school of large orange fish migrated near me in a rapid fashion.

I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Ah, to be easily entertained again.

In my case, it's my third (?) birthday. I don't much remember what presents I received or what guests were there... but I do vividly recall the birthday cake with a toy rocking horse atop it, and blowing out the candles. "Happy Birthday Justin!"
