When it is revealed that Ershin is actually a Goddess, the game rubs it in your face by having you learn spells that would be awesome...if you had the mp and high int to use them effectively. This comes out of nowhere, and you'll have spent your time for the majority of the game developing a crap character, who's supposed to be awesome, but isn't. She's also thrown on the backburner pretty much after that revelation. It's just not fair that you have a Goddess on your team for all that time, but the game managed to make her mediocre at best for the whole game.
Really? I thought it was lame that there were all these spells, but when you level it up, it had MORE than enough AP & CP to dish out those spells. It was kinda lame how:
Spoiler:
Ershin and Deis was put in the backburner after that little revelation. The fact that there was no mention of BoF III, when Momo was a freakin' Master in IV, kinda put me off too.
But I think the most retarded character moment for that game was:
Spoiler:
When you control Fou-Lu in Sonne, and there's a bunch of Imperial guards knockin' on the door. The chick you're living with barricades the door with her body, and tells you to go through the little hole behind the stove. Now, that would be fine and dandy, IF IT WERE ANYONE BUT AN EMPEROR GOD.
Instead of summoning a dragon, or using that fancy Royal Sword to decimate the enemy like Fou-Lu USUALLY does, he hesitates, and escapes out to the back.
Later on, the Empire uses an awful curse/hex/bad-thing on you BY USING THE CHICK AS FUEL, causing Fou-Lu to kinda go bat-shit. =/
The necessity for story aside, that was one of the most stupiest moments ever.

Could you, for the sake of discussion, pick a bad RPG and tell us about it?
