Agreed.
But Fall Out Boy has a bunch of strangely titled tracks on their album as well.
I'm beginning to think its a "hip trend" in the emo music world.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about They Might Be Giants. Good call. Also, that's a swell band name. Right up there with Margot & the Nuclear So and So's.

Machinae Supremacy has some odd ones:

Spoiler:

Dubadub Dubadum
Erecta My Hamburger Baby
Knee Deep in the Xoox
R0x0rd teh X0xx0r

Among many

EDIT: Also, Krelian, What album is that "Kittens on Crack" song by DT on. Since I am (clearly) a big Theater fan, I would love to hear it.

I also LOVE Puppies on Acid.

I think Sufjan Stevens has some weird song titles

The Black Hawk War, or, How to Demolish an Entire Civilization and Still Feel Good About Yourself in the Morning, or, We Apologize for the Inconvenience but You're Going to Have to Leave Now, or, 'I Have Fought the Big Knives and Will Continue to Fight Them Until They Are off Our Lands!

A Conjunction of Drones Simulating the Way in which Sufjan Stevens Has an Existential Crisis in the Great Godfrey Maze

They Are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbors!! They Have Come back from the Dead!! Ahhhh!

They're this Seattle alternative/rock band, not really obscure but they don't typically get radio play. I recently went to a show and it was sold out, so they have a pretty solid fan base. It's wierd since their music doesn't really quite match up with the tone of their song titles (for example, Monkey!! Knife!! Fight!! is about going out for a drive with a girl) but I like them. Their new album, "Menos El Oso", is pretty good (Panchuca Sunrise is a great song) but my favorite by far is "Highly Refined Pirates".

They have this EP called "Bands Like it When You Yell 'Yar' at Them" that I wanted to add to the list but it wasn't a song :(

Deftones- "U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,A,B,SELCT,START"

Is that a cheat code?

Only the most famous cheat code of ALL TIME.

Also, A Silver Mt. Zion have a nice selection to choose from for weird titles.

"Sisters! Brothers! Small Boats of Fire Are Falling From the Sky!"
"Sow some lonesome corners so many flowers bloom"
"Sit In the Middle of Three Galloping Dogs"
"Blown-Out Joy from Heaven's Mercied Hole"

I believe it's an early instrumental version of Lie. It's on a few bootlegs.
