This past week or two, I've been listening to Day Old Hate by Dallas Green. His voice is O_O

I looped "Consequence" from Ace Combat 5, "Mysterious Door" from Growlanser IV and "Wings of Despair" from Soul Calibur III in Sound Forge since I listen to them so often. I hate having to go through a fade-out ever couple minutes when I often listen to those songs for even hours straight.

I rarely, if ever, loop tracks. I don't even loop albums all that much. I do listen to some tracks repeatedly over the course of a day, but I rarely repeat tracks.

The only track I can recall repeating a lot is Weezer's "Perfect Situation" when I was hanging out with a friend. We repeated that song about... 5 times? Not much, really. I love that song.

In Flames - Episode 666 I remembered looping about seven times. Same with Insomnium's Mortal Share, which is about 6 - 7.

Hell, I loop music that often. Most metal songs in my directory take about 4 - 5 loops everytime then I get bored of them.

I just got out of a 2 hour Solitary Shell loop. I can't stop listening to that song, mostly becuase it just flows into itself perfectly.

Right now it's hellogoodbye- Here (In Your Arms). It just won't die.

Keane - "Bedshaped" and "A Bad Dream". Such great songs. I listen to those 2tracks mose of my days.

I have a tendency to loop anything that I am currently into. But recently, quality trance seems to be the most looped type of music on comp.

both of the theme songs from the Kingdom hearts series. both done by japanese artist Utada Hikaru. Simple and Clean from KH1 and Sanctuary from KH2

for me it would have to be the track "transformation" from the brother bear OST. there is something about that choir that makes me want to loop the song over and over..

Recently I've been looping Pizzicato Five's "Y.O.U. (I wanna be like you)", Bjork's "Hunter", Tricky's "For Real" and Fantastic Plastic Machine's "Electric Lady Land". But out of those songs I've been really obsessed with Pizzicato's "Y.O.U. (I wanna be like you)".

I hardly ever do it but I remember listening to 'The Trial' by Pink floyd over and over again. Such a great song...

There are many that I can do this with, but I'd have to think about most of them. The most obvious is "Into the West" from Lord of the Rings. I was on my mission for my church when the soundtrack came out, and I picked it up right away. My companion and I (we always travel in twos) listened to it once through in the car, then put Into the West on endless repeat for three days straight. I kid you not - we must have heard it 50+ times in a row. And I still liked it at the end, and still like it to this day.

There have been many of them I've done this with. But one I always seem to come back to is Boards of Canada's "Corsair" from their album "Geogaddi." It's barely even a song, I guess, but something about it is so compelling to me... I think it's how it conjures up such a clear mood of melancholy and such specific imagery in my head. It's amazing really, it's basically just a four-chord drone song. I dunno, but I love it.

Sometimes I get obsessed with a song and I can't stop listening to it. Right now that would be Sit Down. Stand Up. (Snakes and Ladders) by Radiohead, but tomorrow it could be anything. Right now I'm on about the 5th loop of it, and I'm still not bored.

I feel that over-listening to a song kinda wears it down, hence I almost never listen to the same track more than once at a time. There are exceptions, though they usually lean towards the ambient side. The Celtic Moon arrangement of the Final Fantasy IV main theme comes to mind, as well as the last track of the Dir en grey album Kisou (which is a simple, piano-led instrumental).

I love the Rent soundtrack to death, if there's anything I could probably listen to for hours on end, it's this.

This list has torn a hole in the fabric of the time/space continuum by completely defying all paradigms of logic.

I don't do this as often for songs that are old to me, but for newly discovered artists I would loop my favorite song(s) continuously. Lately I've been digging David Bowie - Space Oddity, Boston - Tell Me, and another David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World.

Did I mention that Richard Strauss is God and Philip Glass King of the World?? (and no, I don't mean satan. Glass gives Strauss a run for his money)

Also, as of late I've been looping a lot of Liszt.
And Fergalicious/London Bridge...

Is there something wrong with me? Insanity and suicide runs in my family, so I wouldn't be surprised.
