Nope. Notice how many people are like, oh, I think I kinda know how...which essentially means no. If you've not practiced enough to get certified you're probably going to screw it up if it comes down to an emergency situation. Also, just reading how to do it means you probably have no idea how hard you have to press to be effective.

Currently CPR-C Certified. Took it last year as part of my medical school requirements.

As for a refresher? I'm thinking aboutr it.

For an adult, use two hands and use your judgment giving chest compressions. 1 and half, two inches deep is probably good.

I was CPR certified years and years ago, it was a requirement in one of my biology classes in High School. I haven't since renewed the certification, but I plan on doing it soon. Procrastination is a bitch.

I learned how to do it in my high school's health class......in between wrapping condoms on various fruits and fapping to medical illustrations of vaginae.....

Refresher course? Probably not.

No one, under any circumstances, should put their life in my hands, especially in relation to needing CPR. No possible good can ever come of that.

I'm CPR certified, Life-Guard Certified, and First Responder Certified.

i own a first aid certificate and a senior first aid certificate so i know more than just CPR =D
It's not hard to get here, you just need to pass both the practical and theory exam but you cant get more than 3 wrongs in the theory exam.
The certificate will expire in February 2008.

Well, I know how to perform CPR to a T, since my dad has worked in a hospital since before I was born, but I'm not actually certified. He taught me lots of really important things, though. Such as how to check for vital signs, how to read heartbeats per minute, how to tell if you need to actually rescusitate(sp?) someone or just splash cold water on them, etc.

I'm not CPR certified, but I do know how to perform CPR since I had to learn it in gym class in high school.

I had to be CPR certified when I started my new job over in the summer. Even though I got a card saying that I am certified, I kind of forgot what to do. I just learned it in the moment, lol (it was only one day from 7am - 3pm). I need to practice it in order for it to be second nature to me.
