All of them, I think.

Slayer X Oct 24, 2006 09:02 AM

Russ: I was obviously speaking on a figurative level in that quote. What I was talking about were things like Lumines where they call it a full version and make you pay $20 for it, which would be perfectly fine, if it were actually a FULL version.

Also this may sound cold but I don't care about people who have been banned in the past. Earlier I was just trying to defend myself, not eveyone who was in my position. So asking me if I think that that people haven't heard what I said before really doesn't matter to me because I don't get involved in other people's business, nore do I care.

We could tell, that's how you didn't know what not to do.

I do support notifying users as to wrongdoings. I thought "The New GFF" would try to help members become better posters. :p

Jurassic Park Chocolate Raptor Oct 24, 2006 11:31 PM

If that's the case, why do we still let you post, Luke?

Because nobody has notified me as to why telling the truth about Ace Combat is a violation of the rules.

Some members become better posters by not posting, you see.

Either way, notifications are good.

"You fail at internets, lurk moar."
"You fail at internets, go ask Skills how to give head. Your posts suck. Please stop."

EDIT: Bastard rated me a 1.

I don't want to get mix up with all of this, in fact I didn't read slayerX's comment in microsoft board, so I can't talk about that, but I kind of agree about the warning or at least the notification of the ban. As far as I can read, I didn't see any post in the banned member or ban discussion about slayerX ban from the microsoft forums...

I'm not saying that he doesn't deserved it nor that mod are wrong for this, I'm just saying that it seem a little odd that he didn't even know about it and needed to make a thread to know what was going on...

just my little 2 cent, sorry

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Oct 25, 2006 07:59 AM

There were plenty of hints though. Most of his MW posts getting deleted and then him not being able to see the forum at all should have tipped him off you'd have thought.

Would you mind informing ol' Styphon of this precedent?

Lord Styphon Oct 25, 2006 08:10 PM

I'm aware of this precident. I also disagree with it, for the same reason I disagree with posting every single iPod spammer there, too.

YO PITTSBURGH MIKE HERE Oct 25, 2006 10:07 PM

Advertising spammers and established members are quite different, though, wouldn't you agree?

Little Shithead Oct 25, 2006 10:16 PM

I like how Capo's only trying to press this because he was banned from the testing forum.

Otherwise he'd be like ::noone cares::, why even try to be dishonest.

lol at someone thinking "The New GFF" still exists.

Lord Styphon Oct 25, 2006 10:18 PM

Which is when an established member gets banned from the board, I'll post it in the Banned Members thread.

Of course, if you want to whip out precident on this, there is an equal precident of not posting individual forum bans in the Banned Members thread. Secret Squirrel's ban of a group of troublemakers from Quebec from Political Palace never made it to there, for example.

YO PITTSBURGH MIKE HERE Oct 25, 2006 10:20 PM

Alright. Whatever works for you guys, then. :)

Slayer X Oct 26, 2006 11:26 AM

It doesn't really matter to me whether moderators notify people or not if someone is banned from a forum. Just don't be surprised to see things like when I made this thread happening because of it, and if you're willing to deal with that then I guess no one can really say anything.

BTW, Slayer - The guy who you're quoting in your sig's name is MAL.
