I don't think anything more needs to be said.

Okay, seriously.

Why is there a guy chopping the bottom of a tree when there's already an hourglass shaped cut in the center of it?

Syphex Nov 3, 2006 11:43 AM

this shit better be coming to Canada.

OMG LOL, I'm gonna buy that game now just for the sheer ridiculousness of it (not to mention it's only 4 bucks). It's probably gonna be one of those "It's so stupid it's good" things.

I love how they make it seem like a horror movie/game lol.

Since I work for that monarch-themed place I have been curious of what games we were getting ever since the posters and other materials went up nearly two weeks ago.

Though our store is so cheap, I wonder how many (or any for that matter) we are getting.

I need to get an XBOX 360 just for this!!

LOOKS AWESOME!

Hotobu Nov 3, 2006 11:16 PM

That's awesome. I haven't had any reason to go into a Burger King until now, that shit is bought.

Why isn't anyone complaining that Sneak King is marketting stalking people to children as an activity for fun?

Oh wait, because he's giving them HAMBURGERS.

"HEY, why is my kid stalking people? That is SO offensive, I'm going to write to my -- hey, is that a hamburger? HAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMBBBUUURGGGGERRR!!!! GO THE FUCK TO YOUR ROOM BILLY AND LET DADDY PLAY!"

I picked up Sneak King today, and it's pretty good for a $4 game. Easy as all hell so far, but still good.

The best part is the King doing his little dance when he delivers the food! And if they see you before you deliver, they actually loose their appetite.

Oh yeah, it has achievements too. Really tiny point scores, 5 and 10 so far, but some people care that much.

That's quite a realistic feature. If I saw a guy in a freaky mask and a cape coming up to me, food would probably be the last thing on my mind.

Anyone played these games on the original Xbox? I assume it's pretty much the same game on both platforms. I have to say, these games look so ridiculous that I just have to give them a try. I rarely eat at Burger King, but I guess I can make a trip to pick up these games (wow, marketing that actually works).

The Sneak King and Pocketbike racer ones look OK, but I'm not sure about the bumper cars one...what's the point of it? Oh, and do people really play those games online?

Picked up all three games just because it's cheap (and cause they look silly).

Sneak King is kind of like Metal Gear Solid, where you have to hide and stuff like that, except instead of killing bad guys, you're presenting people with food, and often doing a silly dance with it (called "flourish" in this game). You can hide in stuff like garbage cans or large piles of leaves (or even inside houses), and the people have a field of vision that if you step into it, they lose their appetite and you lose your chain (which multiplies your points). You can "run", but if you do it too close to people, they may turn around to look at you (his sneaking animation is hiliarious though where he quickly tiptoes towards people and what not).

I have to say though, I've noticed some bugs already in it. My very first game, the king spawned below the map, so I couldn't move or anything, and had to turn off the 360 and turn it back on to fix it. Other times I'd go into a house to hide, and then the game freezes up.

The racing one is an awful lot like Mario Kart for the most part. But it's not as fun (partly cause there's only 5 tracks, and partly because it doesn't really do anything particularly new). There are different modes you can play though, such as a battle mode (where you try to score the most hits against someone instead of racing), or a hardcore mode (where it's straight racing against others, with no weapons or powerups on the road).

Saw a bug with this one too, where I hit a wall, and then got stuck in it, and had to wait till the computer racers finished to get out of the hole.

The bumper car one confused the hell out of me. I played it for like 10 minutes before getting bored of it. I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing for the majority of the game, and the computer seemed to cheat a lot (like I hit them and they don't move far, but they hit me and I fall back like 20 feet, usually into a bottomless pit). On top of that, it's really, really hard to tell which car is yours sometimes, so you'll probably end up driving off the edge of the map cause you're looking at the wrong car. This game looks like it has potential in terms of multiplayer though.

You definitely get what you pay for with these games, but they are fun for the short time that you play them (cept maybe the last one I mentioned), and these could become collectors items later on (depending on how popular they become).

I just saw the TV commercial for Sneak King. OMG. This game makes me want to buy a 360 just to play it. Gears of War doesn't, no other game does, but this game seriously does. Burger King's comic timing is genius. :D
