It all depends what you're doing, how long you take to drink the stuff and whether you've eaten though. If I go straight to the pub from work and down three pints of Stella, I'll be pretty tipsy and drunk after another couple. On a full-on day out involving lunch and dinner though, I can pretty much drink solidly all day and walk away from it. On my birthday one year I drank two bottles of champagne, half a bottle of vodka, 24 Smirnoff Ice, 5 pints of Stella and a fuck load of shots (I only know the numbers because we were at the pub I worked at and they kept the empties) and I just about remember walking home.

I'm probably an above average drinker overall though.
