The single fanboy-ism in me would be The Simpsons. I really don't care if the shows aren't funny anymore, I just enjoy watching them. They have the occasional funny portions, but if it's The Simpsons, I'll watch them. Memorable quotes also arise too.....

"Here's to Alcohol, the Cause of - and Solution to - all of life's problems." ~Homer (Homer vs. The 18th Amendment)

Man I used to LOVE the Simpsons. But now it sucks because Family Guy is wayyy much funnier then this show.

The new Simpsons episodes can get so absurd that sometimes I have a hard time distinguishing whether I'm watching The Simpsons or Family Guy. Either the jokes have absolutely nothing to do with what has been occurring on screen, or they are simply bizarre. The new episodes just go for the "it's so random that it has to be funny" approach which is, in fact, not funny at all.

Anyway, Two Bad Neighbors is, hands down, the best episode ever.

The appeal of the simpsons, for me, concerns the side characters...they make the show for me. If it were just the simpson family the entire time, it would be just a bore.

ANYWAY. Off the top of my head, my favourite episodes were the X-Files Halloween special, the beer baron one, and the Stonecutters one.

The stonecutters is my favourite I think, with the NYC epi coming in a cloase second.

I easily prefer South Park though.

Looks like they're milking it some more, what with a 19th season signed up now. Groening says they have new writers, so we'll see...

I can't wait for the movie. There's already a couple of great leaked clips on youtube.

LOL, those clips were quite hiliarious actually. Definitely reminds me of the earlier seasons in the Simpsons. :D

It looks promising so far! I anticipate it.

I still watch the simpsons whenever I can. There are a few episodes that stand out among the rest. The stonecutters, Homer's Mysterious Journey (the space coyote episode) and the treehouse of horror with The Raven.
