I lack the time to write up comments right about now, as I should be getting ready for work. But I didn't want to miss this. Points only for now.

(3 Points) - Kouldelka - Kiss Twice
(2 Points) - Konami All-Stars 1993 ~ Music Station of Dreams - Dance With a Crocodile
(1 Point) - Age of Mythology Original Soundtrack - Chocolate Outline.

I don't have the authority to close voting, but while I still have steady 'net access, here are the totals as they stand in my count:

(25) Chocolate Outline
(24) Kiss Twice
(23) Ruthless
(22) Complex
(12) Spray TIE (12) Techno
(6) Maple
(3) Dance

Interestingly, Ruthless has most of its support at STC, and Complex has most of its support here at GFF. Also note that a single vote for any of the top four tracks is enough to radically change things.

I closed the voting here. Interestingly enough, you never technically closed last week's voting. ;)

THE POWER OF WATER Sep 4, 2006 01:48 AM

I held voting open late tonight to make up for the late start, but no one extra voted. :(

orion's vote total was almost correct; Spray only had 11 points, not 12. But for formality:

Voting is closed!

1). [25] Age of Mythology Original Soundtrack - Chocolate Outline
2). [24] Koudelka - Kiss Twice
3). [23] Splinter Cell 3 Chaos Theory Soundtrack - Ruthless
4). [22] Genso Suikoden III Original Soundtrack - Complex Thoughts
5). [12] The Incredible Machine 3 - Techno Rave
6). [11] ChaosField Sound Track - spray -boss-
7). [6] Maple Story - Beachway
8). [3] Konami All-Stars 1993 ~ Music Station of Dreams - Dance With a Crocodile

Clearly, those of us at STC are the only ones who can appreciate proper percussion! :D

Whoa, Ruthless got 3rd? I didn't see that coming. I'll have to check out the STC thread.

Yay for Chocolate Outline getting 1st place! Now go get the rest of AoM's music, everyone! :D

Okay, um... Chocolate Outline? I must be missing something. That and Beachway are by far the weakest songs this week.

Ruthless getting 3rd is really the only good thing to come out of this, and I find it extremely odd that this and Spray were separated by 12 points. What a shame :(

I never thought Spray was repetitive at all. Tons of subtle nuances make for some very interesting listen, and I still can't figure out this comment:

... Uhh... it wasn't overpowering anything, the percussion was the highlight.

hehe, what happened to Chudah's Corner anyway?

They lost interest again. :(

I'm giving it one more week.

I know that the percussion was supposed to be the focus of the song, but it didn't blend in or balance with the other stuff in the song well. The percussion sounding nice is good, but it also needs to make the song as a whole sound nice, and I don't feel that happened with this particular track.
