I am a Guiness man myself. Cans, bottle, or draft I like it all. Very good tasting stuff.

Do any of you put salt in your draft beer? I have a friend who does and he also puts a lemon in the same beer. By the end of the night he'll have about 6 slices of lemon in his beer.

And I don't like lime in my Corona. When they put the lime on the rim it leaves that taste and I can't stand that.

My friend Oscar puts lemon AND salt on his Tecate, although I personally don't really care for it too much anymore.

It should also be noted that Tecate is a pretty shitty draft beer. Furthermore, Tecate is a town in Mexico whose main export is tequila. And just to be anal: Tecate has a distinction for being a town full of drunks and hence most Mexicans refer to hopeless drunks as "tecatos", after the town of the same name where some of the shittiest tequila in Mexico is produced.

Beer isn't my favourite alcohol, lager is truly terrible, and I don't drink it unless I'm pretty drunk already, Ales are alright, however I like Stout and Guinness is the God, and I can drink that straight away.
Cider is also a nice refreshing drink for an afternoon and stout is more an evening drink...at least that's what I think...

I work at a beer company that carries Coors, Miller, and an ok selection of imports and FMB's, and the only one thats ever got my attention is Blue Moon.

I dont like to get drunk, and I really dont like to drink that often, so when I want a beer I always get Blue Moon. Its proably the best tasting beer to just sip and enjoy. Its got a citrus flavor to it.

I like beer.
Although I haven't tried much anything else besides the usual ones in Finland. Lapin Kulta, Koff, Olvi...

YUCK. I bought some Blue Moon once recently out of curiosity and ended up drinking one and throwing the rest away. To me, it tasted like baby powder smells. Gag.

I'm not a big fan of beer so I don't drink it that often, although of the beer that I have had I much prefer drinks like Keiths and Canadian.

I'm not a snob about beer. I can drink with the alchies who prefer Mickeys and Old Milwaukee for the price, or I can spend a few dollars more to enjoy a Fat Tire or Stella Artois. I don't mind something lighter like Corona, or something exotic like Ace. On the other hand...

Beers I don't like-

Blue Moon - It's expensive, and it's... Just not me. I dunno. Maybe it was the fact I was in Highland Park, and I was drinking it at $10 a pint (huge inflation on drinks in Highland Park).

2001 (beer from Denmark, celebrating the new year) - It was known for it's 20 proof. It tasted good at first, but the aftertaste was so godawful I wanted to mask it with a clove of garlic.

Skyy Blue and Zima - I'm not homophobic, but I don't know how the gay community can enjoy the stuff.

Old English - It is the one and only beer that actually knocks me unconcious, and leaves me with a massive headache that makes box wine look like aspirin. I couldn't even finish all 40ozs, and I definitely hate wasting beer.

Big Bear, King Cobra - Although I can drink cheap, I can't bring myself to buy a 40oz for a dollar. I don't care if it is the cheapest beer, I'm just not cheap enough to want beer that bad.

Anything Canadian really - I really like Canadian and Creemore.

I really only drink Australian beers. I've found a variety of foreign beers that I enjoy, but they are generally more expensive and don't actually find taste better than local beers.

Also I must note, I haven't found an American beer that I say I will buy again.

On the bus the other day I caught a billboard advertising Miller.

Naturally I thought 'whoa...move over, Mount Franklin', but then I realised that somewhere, sometime, teens will actually take to it. I stopped laughing that point.

It's one of the "high class" beers, so you won't see it much at parties.

Not with shish-kabobs, but a slice of orange is par for the course.

Sam Adams isn't that expensive, but it isn't necessarily one of my favorites. It prices at about $4/pint, next to the more premium beers at $6 to $8 a pint (Guiness, Stella Artois, etc.).

I'm a little surprised nobody mentioned any microbrews yet. I think most microbrews are overrated, but I did enjoy a pint of 312 (named after one of Chicago's area codes) once or twice.

Microbrews were mentioned a few times, pay attention.

I'm all for a quality beer now and again, but I don't go out of my way for it. I learn to enjoy the cheap Canadian beer stuffs, just because I typically only drink it to get drunk, or drink so little of it that it doesnt' bother me.

So, I enjoy beer, but I don't go out of my way to get good stuff, because it's just not worth the hassle of finding a place with good beer that is readily accessible.

Hmm not really a beer expert, or know what is good and whats not. All I know is that I like Bud and Bud Lite, Miller is also pretty good too. Besides that I've only drank shitty Busch, Genesee (fuckin Genny water), Steels and Keystone. I dont care much for any of those ones.

I grew up in Wilmington, DE. It's on the east coast of the US. Now, I haven't been drinking for all that long, but I like to think I know more about it than most my age. That said, so far as beer, I favor a regional drink. Yuengling, America's Oldest Brewery, has a Lager that any student can appreciate. It's not the best, but it's damn good. And it doesn't cost all that much.

Plus it's domestic, which is always a plus in my book.

Oh, and Pabst ftw.

This man knows what he's talking about. Yuengling is a Pittsburgh favorite. :)
