I just looked at more of your stuff. I like the Ganon/Tangle slash. The contrasting body sizes and overall level of detail combined with my heightened sense of perversion really do it for me.

I also liked the Ozzie porn.

Sousuke Dec 5, 2006 05:36 PM

Yet another thread revival. >>

You may [or may not?] know that the frogdrop folder you've linked to is empty... and none of the art is actually there. So I'm wondering if it'll all be posted on the new website when it's all said and done? Mainly cause I've only seen a few drawings, but they were FREAKING AWESOME and I'd love to see more. :D

Admiral Amara Dec 5, 2006 06:29 PM

Yeah, none of the links worked for me ;___; I'd like to see your art, because everyone I've seen so far thinks you're awesome.

UltimaIchijouji Dec 5, 2006 08:59 PM

A 404 is fine, too.

Seris Dec 5, 2006 11:53 PM

Uh--!

Oh, er, uh, wow. Old thread revival is OLD.

Yeah, so er, my new site is Depressed Lumberjacks, and it's still under construction. I'll be uploading my art in small incriments as the site comes along, and once that happens I'll link to my pieces again.

Meanwhile, er, if you want to see my art just check out my chocojournal or something. As more junk comes along it's apt to be posted there.

Sorry guys!

Magi Dec 6, 2006 12:04 AM

I really like the one with the aristocratic guy hanging upside down, the background especially, looks fantastic. :3

Vemp Dec 6, 2006 01:15 AM

Oh, so Q's e-girlfriend does gay porn eh? Interesting.

Sousuke Dec 6, 2006 07:55 AM

Actually, I checked the Chocojournal, and... Only the upside-down guy, and the Tingle-pr0n pics showed up. I noticed a few other places where there SHOULD be pictures [aka: view page source] but the links for those are dead too. :/

But thanks! At least we'll be able to see when the new site is ready. :D

Seris Dec 6, 2006 01:07 PM

If anybody still cares, here's a link to a journal entry with all of my up-and-running art directories in it.

I'll also go back and edit some of these posts and get some pictures that were supposed to be up and running... Up and running <<

And thanks, Magi. Glad you approve~

Shenlon Dec 8, 2006 08:51 AM

you have alot of work there. I especially like the hungry snake. Good work

Seris Dec 11, 2006 11:43 PM

Just posting in this thread to let everyone know that not everything I draw is gay porn.

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...workinprog.jpg

Whether or not it is actually decent artwork, only time will tell as work is done on it.

Vemp Dec 11, 2006 11:50 PM

Hey Seris, join us here: http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/cr...l-artists.html

(or did you join already?)

oh btw, nice inkwork on that one, what did you use?

Seris Dec 12, 2006 11:41 AM

I did not join already. I'll have to once I get some other vital drawing projects out of the way.

Meanwhile, for the above piece, I just used one of those Bristol ink pens. Nothing too extravagant; it's what I use to ink all my pieces, when/if I ink them <<

No. Hard Pass. Dec 12, 2006 11:43 AM

none of the links seem to be working, lady.

I want some of that. I simply love the inkwork. I can't do inks that smooth. :(

*EDITS FIRST POST =||||*

Aya Dec 14, 2006 08:54 AM

Not to be mean or anything.. but it looks like she got boobs on her back, even though it's problaby supposed to be those-whatchama-call-them things which are attached to the arms and shoulders o_o... shoulderplates?

Well, they look like they stick out a tad too much, thus making them look like spiffy boobs

Seris Dec 14, 2006 11:42 PM

Yeah, I see what you mean. Her shirt could be hugging her back a little bit more than it is there.

I'll have to fix that when I'm coloring it~

Seris Dec 20, 2006 04:41 PM

Just double posting to show you guys a very recently finished piece: this.

~~

Magi Dec 22, 2006 03:33 PM

I like it. Even though there are some issue as to the planer consistencies in terms of figure's perspective in relation to their background, but I think you handle the lighting condition, especially how the fire is lighting the figure very well.

Seris Jan 4, 2007 09:46 PM

Latest piece, just drawn last night and colored today:

http://www.depressedlumberjacks.com/...serenapose.jpg

Aside from the obvious spelling errors in the description, I'm curious as to what other faults I've made with this piece.

So please, critique away ;_;

Vemp Jan 4, 2007 09:55 PM

Hm, I'm not that good with lighting, but I think the skirt/cape thing looks parallel to the screen than to her ass/back/body (I think because of the shadows). Overall it's ok. (body proportions, etc..)

Sorry, I can't really find out what's wrong/correct in an anime drawing because anime is all about 'distorting' or 'exxagerating'.

Magi Jan 4, 2007 09:55 PM

Not bad, not bad at all. I'd like to see her eyes a bit closer together, but its not a big problem. I would have preferred fleshier skin tone, but it is preference issue. ;} I wonder if you can give her a little bit more rib. Thee really isn’t much to complaint about I guess, for all intends a purpose, it’s a nice piece and it is easy on the eyes, some people might have problem with bright saturated colors but not me.

Oh, you might want to check the shadow on her right leg.

No, some rules still applies. I don't like this line of reasoning.

Edit: One more thing, you might have left out some of the cast shadows. Remember, besides regular shading, objects also cast shadows onto itself. Even though it isn't something big, it is some of the things that can change our perception of the placement of an object on a character.

Sorry, I didn't mean it in a bad way.

Oh my, that helps me so much =o You're a miracle when it comes to coloring and lighting, magi.

Additional Spam:
Double posting to show you the cheap edit with magi's advice in tow:

http://www.depressedlumberjacks.com/...renaedited.jpg

I would've done more with the editted version (as in, completely re-colored it) IF I hadn't been retarded and saved the image in its original layered version as the one flattened image it is now.

My next picture will have this advice in mind though. NEXT TIME.
