It can't be Chrono Crusade because that one wasn't widescreen (and neither was My-Hime/Otome.) Besides, Acer already said it takes place in the future. :P

The only thing I can think of when I see those green eyes is Fate/stay night, though I haven't seen it so I don't know if it's in the future or not.

This aired before F/SN but is still a relatively new series. Not one that got a whole lot of attention though, mind you.
