OK, looks like Kart will be happening, that's good news. Might not be a long session, but we can get some races in.

You might get some wins in too ;). CHz is on vacation this weekend and probably won't be present.

I for sure won't be on, just got home with the cat a little while ago. It's an older cat so it's acclimated super quickly and is awesome actually, but I definitely want to keep half an eye on her for a while. Is anyone going to be livestreaming it this week? I can watch that and heckle you guys from the sidelines at least.

I'd think the cat would be happier if you just left her alone to find her space, rather than watching her all the time.

That's what I'm doing, hence saying keeping half an eye on her, I'm not like following her around or anything. I've had cats before so I have a pretty good idea on what stuff I needed to catproof, but they're all different. For example, I just heard a noise in the kitchen, go in there's and she's gone...because she apparently knows how to open cabinets, get inside, and close the door behind her -_-.
Edit: As a hilarious sidenote we got this cat because Philia volunteered and is now working at the animal shelter. Has wanted to get the cat for weeks. We get home, cat immediately loves me and is on my lap purring louder than I have ever heard a cat. Divorce cat? |
Lmao, I told you, I don't mind if the cat favors you more than me. I find it quite interesting that a lot of cats like men for their owners. There's a whole slew of gifs out there where cats are rubbing their faces in their owners' 5 o'clock shadows which explains a bit. It must felt like semi sandpaper and appeasing for them to rub their heads onto. It makes them look like they're bunting heads with their owners' faces.
Anyway no worries! <3 The main fucking thing was that she's fucking out of there. The shelter was NOT healthy for her, and the visiting brats would pester the fuck out of her and other cats would agitate her often too. The most agonizing of the whole thing is the wait for her to GTFO of there. |
Sorry I couldn't kart and stream today. I've been busy cleaning and going through boxes of stuff today - getting rid of ancient crap is not how I'd have wanted to spend my day but welp.

Sometime in the near future Suddenlink is supposed to boost my internet speed. Unfortunately, they're also introducing a download/upload cap to 500GB per month. If I go any further than that, it's extra charges (and you all know how big those games on Steam and Playstation can get).
These videos are close to a gig each so I may need to drop the quality to 480p or figure out something else.

Pre-emptive chumping: I won't be on next week, will be at my wife's holiday dinner for her SPCA job. On the plus side will we be at a delicious mexican restaurant.

As a heads up, I probably won't be around for Kart time tomorrow. I'm seeing friends for the day and so likely won't be about. I'm sure Tails or someone will sort out the room and call.

I'm going to miss vroomtimes tomorrow because I need to handle some surprise errands that just came up, and Skills will be out as well due to reasons pertaining to being a decent, empathetic human being with functioning personal relationships.

At this point I'd be surprised if anybody showed up. We could use a week off anyway.

You make a good point Tails, and that possibly holds true for the next few weeks. Actually thinking about it I won't be around on a Saturday until the new year now probably, what with Christmas and all that jazz.
So yeah, if people are around then sort yourselves out, otherwise regular karting action will probably resume in January I guess. |
Yeah I won't be around tomorrow either, Capcom Cup and all that. I don't have the general holiday obligations that most folks do though, so I'll probably be around the rest of the month if people show up.

I think I'm gonna take the weekend off as well, I really want to see the Capcom Cup. I should be around next Saturday, but the Saturday after that I definitely won't be available.

Well, I was going to make sure I got home from work tomorrow in time for karting, but I guess I'll just sleep in instead. That works.
