Hey I said that for the best interest of everyone who reads this thread. Some people live in different time zones and in different countries where RAW has not yet been shown.

Also you are not clever or funny by putting the word "fag" in a spoiler tag by any means. You just sound like a complete moron that dosen't understand simple rules.

Hands down the funniest shit I've seen in a long time.

Yeah, I saw that last night, I had to rewind it a couple times to see it again. I damn near shit myself laughing. I guess that confirms that I am a sadistic bastard, but it was still funny.

nazpyro Jun 6, 2006 08:54 PM

Holy crap! That happened?!? That's hilarious!

I was watcing some of RAW at a a friend's house (Mike Jones! WHO?). Then I went home. I must've missed this. ;_;

Darsh Jun 7, 2006 02:08 AM

pfffft, at least the crowd was behind lilian then promptly boo'd Haas (lolz). Anyway, the ecw invasion was poorly executed. Sandman was clearly not hitting cena with the kendo stick and sabu looks like botched a high risk move that barely phased the tabel cena was on.
Shelton vs Carlito was very short and the whole kiss my ass club is just predictable filler. The only highlight was the Haas and Nitro match.
This may sound odd, but I think Nitro deserves a huge push for the title. This guy is really fast and talented in the ring and has the look and entrance of a champion, and since the wwe needs new faces, I think this guy is perfect for a future title run.

What? It's all about Rob Van Dam!

John "Earthquake" Tenta passed away this morning at the age of 42 after a lengthy battle with bladder cancer. Tenta is survived by his wife and three kids.
I was actually wondering what had happened to him. :(

SimDaddyGT Jun 8, 2006 12:40 AM

Damn. He was only 42? I thought he was in his 30's when he wrestled in the 89 Survivor Series (which is where I first started watching wrestling.

And I loved the Earthquake, too.

lightgem Jun 8, 2006 01:08 AM

Big Show's betrayal was great. It cracked me up seeing Mark Henry in the locker room, especially when he came out last and slapped on the roof LMAO !!!!!!!!

The Burniator Jun 8, 2006 08:09 AM

It's going to suck if Rey Mysterio jumps to ECW.

I dunno, I think he has the looks and entrance of a massive faggot. He does pull off some good moves, though.

Mystil Jun 8, 2006 10:00 AM

Nitro needs a finisher. Snapshot is 2-person. Other than that I agree with Darsh. But not a world title push - too early. Start him from the IC title and go from there. He's already been tag champ.

This is from WWE.com
Quote:

"For the first time ever, the WWE Championship will be on the line at an ECW pay-per-view," said Cena in the interview. "The Championship has been held by the likes of Bruno Sammartino, the Immortal Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin. If Rob Van Dam wins, then the Championship will be gone and it will be christened the ECW Championship. I'll be the biggest goat in sports-entertainment history."
I don't blame Cena for his feelings on this. If he loses he could be the most hated wrestler in WWE history. Among hall of famers, fans and the current back stage. I don't like the guy as it is, but WWE title has a LOT of history behind it, with most of my better memories of it being provided by the likes of young HBK, Bret Hart, and Taker(when he was badass). I have no problems with ECW, but the WWE title doesn't deserve to be "defaced" into something it wont properly represent.

mortis Jun 8, 2006 10:59 AM

The title won't be.

I would not be surprised if things work out like this.

HOwever, before I give my scenario, I am going to take us through a small history lesson.

About ten or so years ago, when the NWA was becoming WCW, but the group calling themselves NWA still had ties to the organization and were going in a different direction than the company known as WCW, had Ric Flair as their world champion. Originally, both companies were seen as one. Yet, due to the aforementioned differences, both companies began to recognize Flair as their world champion, with him holding EACH of their respective titles.

Around that time, Flair faced Jitsu or Jumbo or something to that affect in a match for the WCW/NWA world title. Jitsu, or we will just call him J, beat Flair after he threw Flair over the top rope, then pinned him later on. By WCW rules, throwing a man over the top rope was an instant DQ. So Flair was still champ by WCW rules. However, the NWA acknowledged the change because that rule didn't exist. So, Flair was still champ by WCW rules but not by NWA rules.

Fast forward to today. What I could forsee happening is RVD beating Cena for the strap after some good ol' fashion ECW-related mechanics (interference, etc). However, McMahon will come out and say that RVD is not world champion because the championship Cena holds is the WWE championship and hence Cena defended it until WWE rules--Not ECW.

Heyman will retort, saying that Cena defended it at an ECW PPV, and automatically, all ECW matches go by ECW rules. Hence, he will declare RVD to be world champion.

Each champion then goes on his merry old way.

dagget Jun 8, 2006 03:55 PM

Ooooooooooooooor....

This could be the start of breaking the Raw/Smackdown barrier and making them "one show" again. Merging the brands as there will be ECW to watch. Which.. hey... works for me. The brand split was retarded anyway.

Mystil Jun 9, 2006 08:41 AM

If they merge the brands together once again, I hope Mcmahon bring back some of the titles he's banished. Like European title for instance. I know it's been "merged" with the IC, but the WWE basically has it's own division of EU wrestlers as there is so many. With the two brands together, we've had more variety at one time, instead of the same small set of people going at it 2 times a week.

The Burniator Jun 9, 2006 09:11 AM

I'm hoping a win from Rob Van Dam at ECW One Night Stand renames the title the ECW World Championship and then at Vengeance Edge wins the title and renames it the WWE Championship.

Slash Jun 9, 2006 01:31 PM

I wanna see the hardcore title back with the 24/7 rule. Nothing was cooler than seeing the MSP kick crash hollys ass with breakfast in bed...Also that huge 15 minute battle royal for the HC title where there were like...24 title changes in that 15 mintues, plus Molly Holly Mighty Molly won the title from The Hurricane then lost it to Christian in like...30 seconds.

Mystil Jun 10, 2006 12:35 PM

That rule is sadly how the lamest wrestler on the smackdown roster won the title 21 times. Steven Richards. I remember that battle royal, it was good stuff. One of the better decisions Vince has made no doubt.

Has defected to ECW

Well you would get wrist-slitting pissy if I just went ahead and posted it without the spoiler. XD

Slash Jun 11, 2006 12:25 AM

Spoilers are only really for Raw, SD and ECW and PPV's...If you seriously thought about it, Tazz was going to go to ecw anyways.

One Night Stand was GREAT last night! i didn't watch it but i read everything about it and read the results and i couldn't be prouder!

i have been an ECW fan since the alliance (WCW/ECW) days in WWE when i first started watching wrestling and until now, i always hoped ECW would come back and they did! and now they have their own ppv, and show and
Spoiler:
their own champion with RVD as the new ECW/WWE champion!!!! John Cena has finally lost and got beaten!!!!

good job for all the guys who put their bodies on the line in extreme extreme measures!!! WELL DONE!

dagget Jun 12, 2006 05:55 PM

Injuries from ONS (not really spoilers since no storyline is being talked about. REAL injuries...)

Quote:

WWE.com has posted several videos from action that took place after Terry Funk's match and Rey Mysterio's match last night at ECW One Night Stand.

In the video of Terry Funk after his match it shows him receiving several stitches to his forehead. Funk seems to be most concerned about his eye, but WWE medical staff says it will be fine. The video also shows Beulah receiving medical attention for what appears to be bruised ribs.

In the other video uploaded by WWE.com it shows Rey Mysterio being escorted to the back. After checking his blood pressure and breathing, the medical staff comes to conclusion that Rey injured some part of his neck. Rey complained he was unable to feel some of his fingers and his neck.
Now if people are suspecting this, they had one with Richard's filmed after his match with Chris Masters, and it showed him getting attention to his nose after Master's fucking crushed it to hell and back. So I take this as candidly shot footage and not faked for the audience, but who knows.

(took video links out as they were "not found")

All I got to say is, if no one could do it, I didn't think it would ever happen. Can't wait for RAW tonight.
