I hope the RE Wii isn't some lackluster Dead Aim port or something. A full-fledged RE5 with Wii aiming would be fucking amazing.
|
It won't be RE5. I'm betting for a Survivor-type game. Which could be nice with the controller.
Can I say again that Wii is probably, right now, the best fuckin' thing I've seen out of all the E3s in the past years. |
An RE4-type game with Wii aiming would be fantastic.
I'd still like a real RE at some point though :tpg: |
Still no sign of the hi-res press conference video? Come on you IGN insiders, upload, upload :(
|
IGN Insider max rez for the Nintendo conference is 320x240....
Wishing now that i wasn't. :( |

First pics of light gun and sensor bar. Notice the extra long cord for the sensor bar. Also note the analog stick attached to the top of the light gun, perfect for one handed fps with gun in hand. EDIT: PS.... The Wii owns |

I NEED A Wii!!!!!!!!!! |
The light gun looks NASTY.
I only wish that instead of simply plugging in the wiimote you could attatch it like a clip. That would be kick ass. |
They designed so it'll be confortable to use. You even got a jostick on the air trigger.
|
No trigger in the bottom=lame.
|
Yes it has one. It's just not big, rather large.
|
Wow, that gun looks awful. I hope they're not seriously going to go with that, so awkward. Anyone who's ever used a gun will be weirded out with having the "barrel" so low =x
|
So, Red Steel will be crap. It won't have blood or gore. Graphics don't look that great.
Why even lie. I'll stick to Zelda. |

Don't get me wrong, I like Gears Of War's demo reel, but I'm not so close minded to negate a game like Red Steel based on such superficial elements as "uber-grafix" and "gore". |

It's great how you can use that as an excuse for bad graphics.
|
I actually skipped out on playing any video games up until PS2 came out because I didn't like the stupid two-dimentional graphics. I thought the NES and SNES were stupid because they had bad graphics.
Anyway IGN gives us some hands-on details on Zelda Wii. Looks like we can put our fears to rest - http://revolution.ign.com/articles/707/707152p1.html |
Ya know what? Before we saw gameplay, the one thing that kept ringing in my mind was this statement.
"PLEASE look like Gamecube, PLEASE look like Gamecube" Honestly, they are going to get more interested customers buying their system with cool looking games and a cheap price tag then they would trying to match Sony and Microsoft in graphics, and end up being a more expensive system. This is something new, it is going to be a risk for many people to spend money on something this new. People will be more willing to give it a shot knowing that they don't have a lot invested in it. - WraithTwo - |

I don't really know. I do know that a lot of people will flock to a system that has GTA though. |

Without a lower price tag, I doubt the system would be bought just for "old school" games. - WraithTwo - |

My father just saw some parts of the Nintendo Press Conference and told me, that most of the games look like childish turd. Oh, and he also added that Iwata's way of talking sucks. ::explodes::

I watched the portion with the speaker announcement only a moment ago. The guy says:
"And this is where we can start finally to unveil some of the secrets that still remain about the controller." Sounds like there's really more to it. Well, in Q4 we'll know everything. |
