I work at Eidos Montreal and I'm currently testing that game.

I really can't say anything except that most of the cg trailer are part of the game either in cinematic or part of the gameplay. ^^

Aren't the new maps already out? I assumed from all the promo stuff on Live that they were, I don't have room on my hard drive for them at the moment.

Last week, game developer and virtual hatter Valve put three new hats up for sale in Team Fortress 2, with the proceeds going to Japan disaster relief:

Team Fortress 2

Quote:

The "Humanitarian's Hachimaki" ($7.99), the "Benefactor's Kanmuri" ($19.99) and the most prestigious "Magnanimous Monarch" ($99.99) will be available from now through April 6. All proceeds (net of applicable taxes) will go directly towards the Japanese disaster relief fund that the American Red Cross has set up
In just a week, charitable TF2 Players have collectively raised over three hundred thousand ($300,000) dollars in hat sales that will go towards relief for victims of the 2011 Japan Quake + Tsunami disaster!

Wow. Seriously, people, WOW. We knew you had it in you, but we're still amazed you've raised over $300,000 so far.
(I just bought the 7.99 hat myself if anyone cares)

I actually totally forgot about Deus Ex until a week ago. I had put it out of my mind when I heard it was delayed from early this year. Been watching all the new trailers and a little bit of the gameplay footage (tried to avoid it mostly) and I have to say I am hyped again.

Its coming out next Tuesday!

I am just wishing it brings back some great memories of one of the best game experiences I had way back in the day. In addition to standing on its own two feet. I like that by all accounts it has kept some of the RPG elements.

I also was glad to hear that much of the music fits the Deus Ex style as can be heard on Youtube. Apparently there was some sort of beta release that got out as usual.

It looks like PC gamer gave it 94% and xbox magazine a 10, but who knows with reviewers. All signs point to it being one hell of a game. I wonder how much the non-original Deus Ex-ers will go for it though.

Elevator Action Deluxe

I guess a lot of these older classic arcade titles are being revamped for PSN/Xbox Live. Elevator Action was always one of my favorite games, glad to see it back like this. :)
