You need to die at SPECIFIC boss fights to get the special thing to happen,Liquid_Snack. Here's a list of the boss fights that will trigger it:

The chances of getting the special option are: - First time - 100% - Second time - 80% - Third time - 64% - Fourth time and after - 50% |
In a fight the fight to Xaldin I die twice and mickey came help me twice in a row ^^ you can't diw with him, if you are able to charge it to max, he revive you full hp/mp (not sure about drive), but if you are not able, just when he's suppose to diw, he will revive you but not full.
and i'm so sad! I totally missed the world of Lion King! big warning to everyone, when you will see Hollow Bastion surround by darkness on the "world map" don't go in right away! go do all the world first. when I finally came back from Hollow Bastion the world from Lion King was lock >.< I think I can unlock it again, but i'm the part of the game that Spoiler:
and anyone who said something about the game being too easy, they surely didn't fight any Nobodies from the organization XIII, they are so hard for me at normal, I just don't want to imagine them in proud >.> |

People are not being careful with their spoilers. Even though I already know about the "assistance" you can get in boss fights, many people still don't. You're ruining a cool moment for them. :(

I just got the game yesterday and played it for 8 hors straight. I have a question. I just acquired this ability called Auto Valfor. I don't know how to use it. Are you supposed to automatically change into your drive mode? I've tried looking for the Reaction Command but I didn't see it.
Also. I think Yen sid was playing favorites when he gave sora new clothes and nobody else. If I was donald I would be mad. |
@Rayne: Auto Valor only triggers if Sora's HP are low plus his Drive Gauge needs to be full.
And Donald shouldn't complain, since he'll get the chance to fuse with Sora some worlds after you acquired Valor. EDIT: FUCK. Aerith sounds so freaking lifeless. I hope they'll keep the old actress for Aerith in the German version. |
Oh, man, I just entered Timeless River (Steamboat Willie). Just when I thought things couldn't get better, along comes this incredibly accurate portrayal of Mickey's first outing. They even added a static effect to make the voices appear old. It's pretty creepy.
I just wish they had the characters dance in place like in those old cartoons. :( I actually feel sorry for Pete. :edgartpg: |
Ah, i got the game on wednesday when they finally arrived!
I played quite a bit, I just left Timeless River, and I just LOVED how they did place, my goodness they did it so well <3 Wont have much time to play though, finals are coming up =( |

After Timeless River, I have serious questions regarding how Disney characters age, if they even thought that through. Even so, I would've liked new outfits for Donald and Goofy, even though I love Donald's zipper-heavy digs.
I have a question about Yao, from Mulan (the small guy). Is he missing an eye, or is it swollen like that on account that he constantly gets into fights? That always bugged me. Also, I've always wondered if Pete is a cat or a dog. The bullish face and large girth suggests dog, but after seeing his SW incarnation, it seems to resemble a cat more. Wikipedia doesn't seem to know the answer either, stating that he began as a cat but now seems to be a dog. And for a bit of trivia, it turns out that Pete predates Mickey, making him one of the oldest Disney characters ever. I also have an early observation about the Organization. You know, I had the exact same problem. Mine was due to the fact that it was a timed battle, and it relies on reaction commands. I had the auto-limit on for Goofy, which wasted a LOT of time, and usually resulted in me failing. I turned that off, and I activated the ability that allows you to counterattack in by hitting square after being hit. These both helped enormously in that fight, if it's any help. Also, has anyone else found that just alternate hitting X and triangle button in battle tends to help? I keep an eye out for reaction commands and continue to smash either button so I can nail a reaction command or continue to attack. Woohoo. I managed to get this working with Cogswap Loader. If it didn't work, I'd play it off my hard drive but it isn't as fun using other people's saved games. (game crashes when you're going to use the gummi ship)
Just cleared the tutorial and apparently the first part of hollow bastion. Going to the land of Dragons now, I suppose this is Mulan's world. I haven't seen the movie, so this'll be entirely new for me. :D I really like the game so far, although the introduction was a bit too long. But I doubt it'll disappoint me now. Much of the stuff that was rather annoying is fixed now, fortunately. I want an original PAL release so bad ;___; Oh, and: Spoiler:

I didn't mention this before but did anybody find the Morale thing on the mulan world as a waste of time. Or is there some sort of secret behind it.

How come the deep dive scene wasn't what I expected? It wasn't cool at all. I was expecting the coolness of the thunder and lightning and the running of the wall. But I didn't get any of it. Where's the scene that everyone wanted to see?
