I'd put hermes sandals on 2 characters, and genji gloves on tank. I'd put those 2 with reverse and decoy gambit (target the tank). And i'd not put reverse and decoy gambit on tank, but just attack.
Should it work like this?

Can you tell me if this is the good way to use reverse against omega?
And can you also tell me how much my english is correct please? ^^

Edit: Do i have to wear or not the diamond armlet, to get the excaliburt? I tried 10 times but got nothing.

You got to zone 2 area away. When you first enter the Lache Span, that is the side he will be on. But what you can do is on the opposite side when you fight the Abysteel, you can ride the Site 11 cart back 2 Site 9 and so on and that counts as 2 areas. That is what I did.

SOLDIER_2825 Jan 29, 2007 03:44 PM

Well I was starting to get bored with doing all of the side stuff. Well more like fed up with it all so I decided to start a new game. I still have a lot of things I could do for my main game though so I'm not sure how long I'll stick to playing the new one. I think I just need to take a little break from the whole game in general to get my motivation for it all back.

SunGod Jan 29, 2007 04:35 PM

Lionking-Cyan: You want to cast Reverse and Decoy on one person only, Decoy makes it so Omega will only target that person and reverse means all hit points that would normally be lost are gained (you are healed instead of attacked). Set the other two characters to continually cast Decoy and Reverse on your tank and attack while they're not doing that, have your tank cast Hastega when required, I had all three characters use the Bubble Belt accessory

Lazlow Jan 29, 2007 06:08 PM

...I'm doing the Ixion hunt an I can't make it appear in the tower and how you do that?

LilGreekKid Jan 29, 2007 07:57 PM

hey Lazlow, is that in the Pharos?? If so, take the elevator to B1F. If you do not see NO monster, run around the circle. He'll come incontact with you. But the only way hell show is if B1F has no Monsters. If you see monsters, get back on the elevator and go up. Then come back down again to B1F and check to see if their is No monster.

I am getting totally frustrated with Bombshell. I must've have killed 15-20 of them things and NO Yagyu Darkblades. WTF do I got to do just to get a dang sword. I either get Nothing  ....Arcana:mad: ....or Pile of Bomb Ashes:mad: .....

Actually, he'll show up on any floor of the Subterra that has no enemies in that ring area, but B1F is simply easier to select (less selection hassling). Keep trying to with Bombshell, he'll eventually fork it over.

Spatula Jan 29, 2007 10:32 PM

I took down that Fafnir like nobodies bitch. He was pretty easy, actually, and it was more funny that I spent more time getting into blizzard mode than taking him on. It's quite surprising that a million HP mark went down in about 8 minutes. Its funny how when I first started the game, I was like, shit, 1 Million HP? That battle is gonna take a LONG TIME.

I am trying. I just started the chain and got 3 right now. Before, I would only kill one at a time and kill the Aeronites. Now I am trying to get my 4rth Chain and the bloody thing aint showing up.

Its weird. When you think they aint going to show up...BAAM, they show up. Thats what happened when I first encountered LV99 Red Chocobo. I was like, maybe it is just a rumor until I actually encountered one and got my butt handed to me by a bird.....That is just low. Getting creamed by a bird. :><:

Yea I had the same thoughts too. I also thought fights like Hell Wyrm, Omega, and Yizmat would be nearly impossible. One thing when I looked at it that I didn't take into account was the combo's. While unless you have certain weapons and accessories they can be sporadic, but they can add up pretty quickly as well.

Spatula Jan 30, 2007 01:38 AM

Nice, I might consider the Hell Wyrm next. I keep hearing it as HARDCORE, but I think I can manage. As for the story bosses, they fear ME.

I was in the high 70's when I took on Hell Wyrm. I assure he is far from "hardcore". You should be able to take him down pretty easily. The only thing about it is the time factor which really isn't even that bad. Just have a couple of Black Mask's or Demon Shields ready for when he uses his Judgement since it's dark elemental. Also you might want a healthy supply of Chrono's Tears or a Power Band or armlet or whatever because Judgement can also inflict stop. All in all it wasn't a bad fight.

Yiazmat IS impossible, when he gets to 4 health bars. It required me a very very long time to remove his last remaining life ^^.

Additional Spam:
Just defeated omega, and what to say. It was a piece of...ehm...cake.
I went all the way through that stupid long and boring dungeon, just to have this easy fight.
I also spent a very lot of time trying to get the excalibur, but in the end i decided not to waste my life anymore on it :D .
I decided to fight omega, 'cause somebody told me i really had to fight it, as i couldn't have considered to have done the most important sidequest, without fighting it. And some people also said that it was harder than yiazmat. Ok, i have to say that omega is a piece of...ehm...cake :tpg: , but yiazmat was IMPOSSIBLE (in the last 4 bars). After i beated it my heart was exploding lol.
I guess then that it's really meaningless to kill lvl99 chocobo.
Tomorrow i'll do bahamut dungeon again and FINALLY say goodbye to this game :eagletear: .

Spatula Jan 30, 2007 02:20 PM

Holy shit, there's a Bahamut in this game? I thought he wasn't in FFXII. And yeah, I agree with you, it's a huge long stretch but I'm getting close to it. How is Ultima like when you compare her to like, I dunno, a boss that is a step down from Yiazmat.

Anyways, I'm off to fight the Hell Wyrm. Any suggestions?

Actually it's just a dungeon ^^.
For hellwyrm, and i think yiazmat too, especially in the first half, masamune + genji gloves is the best weapon ever. You can do him 20k per hit.
Just dispel it, then expose abut 10 times, berserk on main (with masamune), and unleash your power ^^.

Lazlow Jan 30, 2007 08:08 PM

...uh i'm doing the Catoblepas hunt in the Z. Caverans but I CAN'T MAKE THAT THING APPEAR!!!

Spatula Jan 30, 2007 10:21 PM

Posting in a MOTHER FUCK RAPED THE HELL WYRM THREAD.

Took that overrated piece of orange ringed shit sucker down in about 65 minutes. He was pretty easy, just LONG at 8.9 million some HP. Yeah his Invert was something I looked forward to since it boosted up my MP to max, while I just use X potions to save the dudes out of critical state then just curajas up to 100% health (9999 for most of the characters). I think this is the first time I've seen Basch chain up to 6 hits for about 2500 each with Genji something and his Masamune - very nice indeed. If I was low on MP (which was probably when he had about 4-5 dots left), I'd just use an elixir or H Ether to give me a good caffine boost.

For some reason I feared I would have overestimated my abilites and got my first game over screen, but not-quite yet! :) So far the only bosses I did have some difficulty with were Chaos esper and near the end of the Gilgamesh fight.

So how does the Behemoth King compare to this guy?

Lazlow Jan 30, 2007 11:02 PM

what lvl is Gilgamesh?

Haha, well I'm glad you enjoyed raping him. The Behemoth King is basically a pussy version of Hell Wyrm. So I wouldn't get my hopes up of a challenging fight or anything with him.

Spatula Jan 31, 2007 01:32 AM

Fine by me, I found it pretty pointless to put Hell Wyrms HP so high, since the strategy was basically the same thing for over an hour. I don't think I'll enjoy the Yiazmat fight. Is there really any point to jack the HP so high when you're employing the same techniques over and over again.

Lazlow, if your party is around 70ish, you should be able to rape Gilgamesh, twice.

Lionking-Cyan Jan 31, 2007 09:26 AM

Don't worry, yiazmat will be harder. This in the first half, and after, as i've already said, he will become harder and harder, till to become IMPOSSIBLE rofl!!
Anyway, i've finally redone the last dungeon, just to say goodbye to this piec...ehm, game.
Thank you guys for all the infos you've given me. The answers i didn't or couldn't find in gamefaqs guides, you gave me ^^.
Now i'm gonna prepare the ps1 to play suikoden 1 and 2 ^^.

my characters lvl are around 64-65. the only thing that annoys me is that he uses Lv.4 Break, Disable, sleep too much...hmm I wonder if he can be silenced (cast silence or silencega on him)

LilGreekKid Jan 31, 2007 04:41 PM

Hey Lionming-Cyan FF XIII should be coming out real soon for the PS3. I am jacked and ready to go for that. Didn't really like Suikodin that much. I am to much into FF games.

Thats to my friend who got me hooked into RPG games. At first I thought they were boring and dumb. Well, I am off to going to the Henne Mines to face Zodiarc. I am aroung LV 82 for Bache, Vaan and Belthier. But first, I am going to find Etem to get my soul powder.

Ohh and finally got that dang blade from Bombshell. 18Chains to get it. Now if I can only find a ribbon.

Spatula Feb 1, 2007 12:06 AM

Took down the Behemoth King and netted myself a very nice prize afterwards. I found this battle actually almost on par at the beginning as difficult as the Hell Wyrm fight, surprisingly. I got quite a few doods KOed in a matter of seconds in the opening stage.

I need to know how to acquire Ethers, Hi Ethers, and Elixirs (lol) and the best way to get those items which I severly lack at this point in the game, due to fighting the last 3 boss like enemies. Where can I buy these three MP saviors? I'm finding I'm running out of MP during long multi-million HP boss fights even though some of my guys have over 700 MP!

What I do is Alternate. When I use 2 of my strong guys to atk and 1 to heal, once in a blue moon have the healer atk. But Once his MP goes down. I switch. Ill let my healer atk, so his MP goes back up and use one of my other characters to heal. Thats what I do and it works for me.

I just faught the Zodiarc and dude is way too easy, but I did lose. I had him almost dead, then he used that dark magic thing. What I am pissed about, everyone of my party Vaan, Bashe and Beltheir was full 9,999 with bubble. When he used it with a small amount of bar, it killed me. I was kicking its butt.

I have a question though, do I need to eqip some kind of armor that negates or limits Dark element to protect me from his dark magic?
