Metal Sphere---- is there a way to make Vagrant Soul respawn again???? My error was I beat him and left and tried to come back again and Lixillod on B2F wasn't there. So I went back to the B3F to fight maybe Vagrant Soul and the room is empty. I guess if it cannot respwn I am SOL. If thats the case than its messed up because I beat havcilek(9999) in Necrohol and everytime I go back to that place, he always shows up again and he is a rare.

Quick question, the Yagu darkblade is dropped by the Bombshells in the Lushu Mines correct? Also can you steal it from them or is it only gotten from chaining and acquiring loot? I also forgot which span it was that they spawn in if someone could refresh my memory.

Edit: Shit, well nevermind, I forgot that Bombshell was a rare game. Seeing as how I already have the trophy for him, I don't believe I will be getting the darkblade anytime soon.

Force a respawn of B3F. Leave the Pharos completely, head two screens away then come back and go down there again. IIRC, he's not a trophy monster. Neither is Luxollid.

Did the sigils I put up help you? Oh, Bombshell isn't a trophy monster. For the Bomb family monsters, that's the Matriarch Bomb's bit.

Is there any other way to get "SOUL POWDER" instead of stealing it from Etem in the henne Mines?

By the way, anybody know where this tent is in Mt. Bur Ominisce (Sp)?

"Need more gil? Its pretty easy. Firstly, you should haev an excess of
Francisca Axes from chaining those Cerberus. I had 9, and sold them for
a ton of gil. Sell those. Then, sell all armor and weapons you dont want.
Then, sell all loot you dont want. Sell all Gems and anything else you
have more than, say, 3 of. Some of the Fleshes and Pelts will rake in the
big bucks, and you should have plenty of cash in no time. Personally, I
bought all Tournesol components and the thing itself with loot. However, if
still you need more, take on the Rank VII Behemoth King hunt. Kill him.
Then, go to Mt Bur Omisace, and keep going North till a tent pops up. Unequip
Vaan's weapon and touch it for 500,000 Gil. That should help.

Wow, I'm working on the 40th hunt of Fafnir, I think, and this hunt just doesn't want to come out. I'm on the Western Side of the Pana' Rift, and I keep tracking back and forth trying to get the weather to turn to blizzard, but it just so happens I've been doing this for about 30 minutes now.

And I almost got a half decent TV deal today, 4096D with 5.1 system and DVD player for $2900, but that's no real deal, honestly.

Leave Paramina Rift via the Feywood exit, and zone back and forth there until a Blizzard starts. Then, make your way to the western side of that two part map (I think it's Silverflow's End).

Make sure you avoid the Frozen Brook map or something, since that map makes the blizzard go away.

That... doesn't sound like much of a deal. Just buy the components seperately, so you can spend your money how you want on each part without getting something you don't want.

There is actually a trick that will keep the blizzard flowing through out.

First teleport to Mt. Bur Ominisce (Sp). When you enter Paramina Rift, make sure its a Blizzard. Make a right and head straight to the next section. It should still be a blizzard. Next go straight down to the next section. When you get to this section, click the map and you will see 2 entrence was to the next section. Take the very bottom one. Then take the last exit to where you got to go to fight Fafnir.

Found this trick on a webiste to keep it a Blizzard.

How is this even a trick? Avoid the Frozen Brook map after you've started a Blizzard (it's easier entering from the Feywood) and make your way to where Fafnir is while avoiding said map.

Also, how difficult is this Fafnir guy. Basically most of my hunts now have been pieces of cake. I hear this guy can dish out 7000 damage, but I do have bubble for all my guys, even Reddas is tagging along. I'm high 80s for my level.

You're not going to have much of a problem if you keep your defensive suite up, have Gambits for Stop on hand, and Curaja too. Make sure you move behind him (while keeping the other two within Curaja range), so you can have at least one character out of White Breath's range. This is to avoid everyone getting stopped/taking damage.

METAL SPHERE----Because, most people don't know that you can keep the blizzard flowing. I read on some webiste that the blizzard follows a path. Why wast your time constantly going back and forth, back and forth, enter and re-enter waiting for it to blizzard, when the steps I provided takes less than a minute to do.

Beside when you enter Paramina Rift from Mt. Bur Ominisc (Sp), it starts the blizzard anyways.

SCRATCH AND SNIFF----theres a rock where Fafnir can not reach you. So if you have any long rang weapons, it should be a piece of cake for you. I did the long and hard way and kept attacking him with swords but he is tough.

The blizzard keeps flowing until you enter Frozen Brook. Trust me, I've tried it. Got the blizzard going by entering through the Feywood, and went around the entirety of the rift except for the map that stops the blizzard.

On top of that, the map you use to start the blizzard has a Leshach Entite on it (and another close by) and it loads faster than Bur-Omisace to P. Rift.

As it does from the Feywood to the Rift, except that it loads faster. Bur-Omisace > Rift isn't a guaranteed Blizzard as you're stating.

Well that is what I read, and i didn't know until I read it. After I read it, I was fighting Fafnir in no-time.

Just mentioning that it's basically the same thing I'm saying, except from another entrance. But basically, if you get the blizzard to start (this is the easiest part), avoid the Frozen Brook map and head towards the map section where Fafnir is.

Much easier than getting the weather right for Lindwyrm (I hate having to zone completely out of an area).

Hey, I wish there was another way to get the genji gloves. I only have the shield. I figured out the Genji after the 1st time I faught him....Wish you can create it in the bazaar.

It's one of those few missables in the game. IIRC, the gloves can be had after he has less than 40% of his HP left or lower. You could just set a gambit to steal at Foe: HP < 40%. But yeah, I wish you could make them in the bazaar. It'd be like the Masamune, so it wouldn't be without precedent.

Wait are you serious about that? I fought the Bombshell once, and then I went to get the yagu Darkblade today and looked in my guide and it said Bombshell was a rare game? So I figured I jut had the trophy and I wouldn't see him again. Since we have seen the guide wrong or incomplete thus far it wouldn't surprise me if it messed up again.

He is classified as rare in bestiary (I think), but he doesn't have a trophy.

I probably read it wrong or something. Well then I suppose I will go after the Yagu Darkblade tonight then.

goodluck....I faught that bomb 4 times and no blades:mad: I kept going 2 areas away and then back again and kept on getting the Aeorinte but no bomb. Very frustrating.

Well if it is any consolation, I haven't gotten a blade either. In fact I still haven't even gotten the freaking thing to spawn. I kept zoning and going back but with nothing to show for it. I think tomorrow I will set aside a decent chunk of time to ensure I get the damn thing.
