I love the game not because of the online portion (I don't really play it much), but because of the new camera. The original game was unplayable, in my opinion, due to that fixed camera position. Now that we can rotate it in any direction, I was able to play through completely.

yes the online part, the game itself is masterful of course, i love how Kojima went back to pure gameplay and not so many movies like mgs2

I'm playing Metal Gear on disc 2. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use rations, and I don't meant auto-use through equiping it but using them whenever. Thanks a lot!

Just contact the secret codec frequency that is printed on the back of the MSX cartidge.

What, no MSX cartridge? ::fail@videogames::

Stupid side question:
Can someone tell me, when this thing is coming out in Europe?

Darkelf May 17, 2006 11:14 AM

Well, Play.com had it listed as a june release up until a while ago but... oh the horror!!! It's been delayed until 29 september. CRAP!! And that's just the 2-disc edition. No word on the LE.

Mobius One May 17, 2006 08:04 PM

The LE isn't worth it.

evergreen May 17, 2006 08:09 PM

It's worth it if you sold it. Which I wish I did since Online just wasn't my taste and I've got an open, albeit complete copy I have no real use for.

Mobius One May 17, 2006 08:20 PM

I should've sold mine while the getting was good. I could've used an extra $100 or so. Now I'm stuck with it. While online mode is my cup of tea, the 3rd Existence disc is not. Seriously, the greatest thing about the LE is the cool red cardboard case it comes it.

Pietak May 17, 2006 09:30 PM

Well, seeing as I'm an insane MGS addict that just purchased the friggin "ShowMAYBE" from eBay, I'd say I enjoy the LE quite a bit! The LE is just what I need to get me through the day; just one look, and I inspire myself to live.

evergreen May 17, 2006 09:41 PM

What's the "ShowMAYBE"?

You lucky sunofabitch. Scan that ShowMAYBE in hi res NOW! At least so the text is readable. Does it have that little area where it talks about the MGS movie?

Pietak May 21, 2006 10:51 AM

Guy sent it out Friday. I'll get back to everyone on the content, including scans and all. Should arrive Monday I assume.
