On the upside I do know that Danny Doring and Roadkill I believe are in WWE and at OVW right now and contracts have been sent out to Francine and I think Balls Mahoney. The real question is not how much of the WWE talent will go to ECW BUT how much talent will there be in ECW?

I think Jerry Lynn's still in TNA. I remember seeing him on there a couple of weeks ago. At least... I thought I did anyway.

khan0plinger May 4, 2006 08:18 AM

Hes not working with a contract though...at least not as one as solid as guys like Raven and Rhino.

Hopefully they will use ECW as a way to also push new talent. I wouldnt mind if guys were brought up from OVW early and you got to see them in action. I know ive been waiting to see CM Punk...but aside from a brief cameo at Wrestlemania...he aint done a thing.

Slash May 4, 2006 01:35 PM

But would you really want ECW to turn into some nationwide OVW/DSW tv show?

dagget May 6, 2006 11:07 AM

As first reported by WWE's new mobile alert system, ECW has signed the following:

Sabu
Jazz
Axl Rotten
Balls Mahoney
C.W. Anderson
The Sandman
Francine
Danny Doring
Tony Mamaluke

As we reported yesterday, WWE is bringing Mamaluke in to reform The FBI with Little Guido (Nunzio)

Excuse me? How was anything I listed a spoiler? Oh you mean about D-X? Or about the ECW signings? Come on now, tell me which one you're accusing of me spoiling.

Wojo May 7, 2006 11:28 AM

Yeah seriously Slash get your head out of your ass. Everyone knew that DX was going to come back soon it was only a matter of time.

Kostaki May 7, 2006 11:40 AM

The most shocking thing about all this, we find that Vince McMahon has taken his head out of HHH's ass, and HHH has taken his head out of Vince McMahon's ass at the same time.

Nothing like a fresh cup of double irony.

This "new ECW" is going to be pretty stale really, no matter how "hard" it's made to sound. Vince will never go back on his move limitation policy as to stop injuries, so you'll never see some of the insane and wacky shit that ECW used to do in the past. That's what made the wrestling good, and the matches even better.

This looks more like a ploy to draw attention away from TNA, and I guess it appears to be working considering everyone and their dog are having orgasms over the news of ECW returning. All they're doing now is kicking a dead horse at this point, but we'll see if anything comes out of it.

Actually I agree that this is a ploy to get people away from TNA. They took Sabu and no one knows who could be next.

Kostaki May 8, 2006 12:36 PM

Sabu only wrestled maybe 5-7 times a year for TNA while under contract with them, so it isn't a complete loss. Samoa Joe would be a complete loss, but luckily his allegiance lies soundly with TNA.

Gaburick says, “Both men were banged up pretty good, both men were bloodied up.” After the fight, Booker T and Batista went behind closed doors to try and clear the air. Gaburick says both Booker T and Batista finished their required work on the commercial before leaving the set. When asked what the fight was about, Gaburick would only say “it’s a personal issue between two men.”

The SummerSlam commercial was filmed Sunday using RAW Superstars and Monday using SmackDown competitors.

Woah.

That smells more like angle opening than it does a legit fight, to give Batista someone to feud with while everything finishes up with Rey Mysterio and the World Title. If they were to put Batista against Rey now, it's clear the mismatch would be absolutely horrible where you couldn't see Batista losing at ALL.

That's the feeling I get from it.

I don't know though. I would think Batista would fued with Henry since Henry did put him out of action. Plus Booker I think is going to be in a big fued with Lashley and he still has unfinished business with the Boogeyman while he heals his injury.

Slash May 13, 2006 01:23 AM

Has Samoa Joe now taken a huge face turn?

Silent J May 13, 2006 12:37 PM

Probably a set-up. I'm guessing that after the match at "Sacrifice", and Joe's team wins, he'll be the crap out of Sting.

SimDaddyGT May 15, 2006 11:48 PM

Okay, I'm seriously confused as all hell. What the fuck is driving Kane insane about May 19th? And don't tell me it's related to that day being the same date as Revenge of the Sith last year, because I know it isn't that.

Is he ashamed to have the movie premiering or something? If there's any date he should be concerned about a movie coming out, it's the 6th day... of the 6th month... of the 6th year....

Anyway, other than that, I can only expect more hell for Shawn next week.

And someone please get rid of Matt Striker, for the love of all humanity.

Slash May 16, 2006 12:30 AM

May 19th = Premiere of See No Evil. The Movie with kane in it.

Also, last monday, there was a video played on the titantron of Kanes Mask and someone laughing saying May 19th over and over. Could be a very interesting set up..especially if Kane showed up on Smackdown and just tore through everyone.

SimDaddyGT May 16, 2006 01:15 AM

Yeah, I know about the movie premiering on that day. It just doesn't make sense. Besides, he removed his mask in June of 2003, not May.

If he does destroy SmackDown Friday night, I seriously gotta watch and see what's gonna happen.

Slash May 16, 2006 01:27 AM

I hope he destroys smackdown. that would increase ratings huge and be totally awesome.

Para May 16, 2006 03:55 AM

Who saw Triple H and his hit coming?

I mean it was pretty obvious after he said "Shawn Michaels I want you to see this coming." or something along the lines of that.

Mystil May 16, 2006 04:12 PM

Don't know. It is hard to tell, it looked very accidental surely. It did not look like he was faking the apologetic notions. I question the way he exited the ring though. They are asking for it with the mocking going on with calling him "champ". That is not necessary.

Magic May 17, 2006 06:52 AM

He looked very bored.

dagget May 17, 2006 11:56 PM

Spoiler:
Uhhh... of course he meant to hit Shane. I mean they can't exactly have a DX reformation in Charlotte at Vengeance if Triple H hit Michaels. DER.

Kostaki May 18, 2006 12:02 AM

Looks like the WWE has confirmed a timeslot for ECW on TV. The place?

SCI-FI CHANNEL

lololol

It's like time travel back to 1996 or something.
