Has anyone played GripShift 2.0? After reading the premise of the game I'm really interested in it, but I didn't know if anyone else felt justified spending $10 on it.
Also, can't decide whether to get Symphony of the Night on PSN or wait until 360 gets a price drop and get it on XBL. I mean, I have the disc already, it's just...so good. (Plus my disc has scratches) The more I play Heavenly Sword demo, the more I look forward to that game. Honestly when I played through God of War, I never got this excited about where I was going or why I should care about Kratos and his grumpy face. |
Just a heads up, the Bladestorm demo is on the Japanese PSN. No idea what the game is about, or even a genre, but hey it's a new demo! Downloading now!

The game is made by Koei. So unless it's another Gitaroo-Man game, anything else by them is garbage.

Hey BlueBomber, did you add those PS3-XBAR-boxes yourself or is there a program that does it?

Brandish and RotK are quality, so you can't bash the shit out of them entirely. Dynasty Warriors is a total love it or hate it kinda deal too.
They lose a hell of a lot of respect for junk like Winback though, so I'll give you that.http://colonelskills.belkanairforce....ages/ace/1.gif |
Gundam Musou and Dynasty Warriors 6 might change a few things. If only because *GASP*, brand new gameplay elements are being introduced (and the idea of mowing down Gundam's with an actual dash is fucking awesome). The only thing I would personally fault them on is the fact that they are so consistently mediocre. Kind of sad, actually.
|
Not really, if the demo is any indication, DW:G is just Dynasty Warriors with robots. a dash doesn't change much. What little new stuff there is will not convert any non-fans. Not by a mile and a half.
|
So what you're saying is that Koei helped develop my good faith just now. GODDAMN YOU, KOEI!

Oh, wait, they didn't. And Koei didn't make Gitaroo Man, nor half the games they've released in Europe. They're a developer/publisher hybrid, like Atlus USA. I can't recall anything that they've developed apart from Dynasty Warriors (which I quite like, although it's repetitive as all hell) but, hey, at least they're keeping the hack 'n slash genre alive. |
But what if you're not about asian dudes with pointy bloody sticks killin' armies and just want to beat up some dudes in tha street? Oh that's right I suppose you can go play God Hand, River City Ransom, and Turtles in Time. The beat-em-up genre is dead. :(
|
Just play GTA without using any weapons.

o russ u~
|
Have you heard of a little game called The Warriors.
|
but I don't like shitty spray painting in my beat 'em ups :(
|
If you think it's not a good game because of something as minor as that, you have problems. It's the best beat-'em-up of this decade.
|
I will have to look it up. It was for Xbox and PS2, right? Which version was better? oh man loving how off track this is getting =)
|
I've only played it on PS2, though I don't think there should be any real difference between the versions.

beat 'em up and hack 'n slash are different -_- |
Well if we're talking decade, that's still Viewtiful Joe, sorry.
