It looks similar to a figure of Takamizawa's handpuppet Marin-chan from Midori No Hibi oO - I don't know which episode it appeared ... maybe 4? When Sawamura had met Takamizawa inside..that..shop.

Well whatever it is I hope it's available at boxtorrents or someplace for download because I'm enjoying its artstyle. One can only take so much of the generic anime character design.

Seriously though it looks like it's that Noiseman thing. It was pretty bad; I think I feel asleep when I watched it, I'm not sure. To be honest I've tried to watch some of their trademark 'weird' works like Mind Game and some of the other OVAs, and I haven't enjoyed any of them. They're not 'funny weird', they're not 'cool weird', they're not 'meaningful wierd', just 'boring and ugly weird.'

Aw, I loved Mind Game. Thought it was hilarious. If you want to see something cool from Studio 4°C you should watch Mahou Shoujo-tai Alice. It's an actual series and not just a bunch of shorts and weird stuff.

Sorry for the delay everyone. Pyocola is right. those shots are from "Noiseman Sound Insect." Although, I really have to disagree with his estimation of it being boring and ugly. The short was nonstop activity, with vibrant textures, and smooth animation, as well as an intriguing, albeit short, plot; hardly boring or ugly.

And, the reason it took me so long to reply was because I wanted to upload the video so that more people could enjoy it, since it was a 2 week pain in the butt to finish the torrents. It is split up into 2 .rar files, which should unpack as a single video file.

I highly recommend "Trava - Fist Planet" if you are looking for some completely new character designs and story style. Hilarious.
