Oh wow. IGN has a longer descriptioon of the MGS4 trailer up. It sounds like Snake's chameleon suit activates when he crouches. It bring's back MGS3's camo system, except you no longer have to pause to change camos, you simply crouch! The suit can fool the new Metal Gears, which is good considering Snake is pretty much helpless against them. Awesome gameplay addition. Hiding in plain sight also relates to "no places to hide". The new Metal Gears can smash through walls (meaning the environments are fully destructable), thus there really are no places to hide. Instead you hide in plain sight, therefore there really is no more point in seeking a place to hide!

Aw sweet! So the camouflage, in essence, is back! Wonder if CQC makes its return as well...

Man, I cannot wait to watch the 15 min trailer. I'm dying to hear more of the music as well as find more about the story. I really wanna hear what kinda of mix they've given the main theme this time. I'm guessing the song we heard in the 3 minute trailer will be the game's theme/credits song.

Oh and I noticed that Nobuko Toda has been credited for the music. Kind of surprising, as I thought HGW was supposed to return, the music definitely sounds like something that'd come from Zimmer's team.

I don't think the vocal piece is anything but ambient noise. Or maybe an ambient version of the new song.

It'd be cool if that trailer showed a couple of the new villains. First Fox-Hound, then Dead Cell, then The Cobras, now....?

i hope there's a damn good explanation for CQC if it makes it's return. It would make no sense story-wise if they put it in the game (why didn't Snake learn it before in his prime?), but I'm sure they'll think of something.

Well according to HGW's site a little while back, he is signed on to do music for MGS4. I think the music credited to this other person was just the music for the trailer.

As for CQC, well it's sort of always been available. The circle as "punch punch kick" is a more basic form of CQC. The only thing that Solid Snake couldn't do was throw enemies to the ground. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't really need an explanation if CQC returns in 4.

I don't know about that. In the 3 minute trailer, Meryl says something like "We're the new Foxhound." So unless Meryl's turned evil for this one, I don't think it's another Foxhound.

If you snuck up behind someone and were moving when you grab them, instead of putting them in a chokehold, he'd throw them, which sometimes made grabbing someone for silent kills a pain.

That'd be funny if the delay really was because of the site traffic and all of the people flocking there tomorrow will just make Kojima delay it even more. I'm still gonna insist this is his punishment for Raiden haters.

Just wait: after this coming trailer, there's gonna be no doubt that more and more people will start saying they liked Raiden "from the beginning."

But FOXHOUND wasn't evil, was it? Snake and Colonel Campbell was both part of that outfit, at least until Snake retired. Vulcan Raven and the rest of them was just apples gone bad, if I recall this right...

I just realized that Gray Fox and Olga should come back and they can have a three-way duel with Raiden in their Ninja suits. Speaking of which, for those still on the fence about whether it's a suit like Olga's or an exoskeleton, the fact that it's more formfitting is probably an indication that it's like Gray Fox's. I'd still like to think the whole Raiden backstory leading to his Ninja phase is gonna be related to Olga's kid, and not Rose and his hypothetical one.

ZOMG! Downloading 2 versions now! Taking forever. I don't wanna stream the KP version until the downloads are complete (don't wanna risk having to buffer every 3 seconds). Are all these WMP versions? I hate WMP, are there any Quicktime?
