where'd you get the game from torrentwise? All i've found are dead torrents.

I got this one downloaded fairly quickly and it works like a charm.

WolfDemon Nov 3, 2006 02:42 AM

Can you access your PS2 character from the PC version, or do you have to start over from scratch? I picked up the PS2 version, but if there's a torrent floating around, I may grab that too, so I don't keep my girlfriend awake when I want to play at night.

Also, I'm gonna need for two people to do those Ginyu Force poses with me while I take a screenshot.

Kairi Li Nov 3, 2006 03:33 AM

I believe as long as you use the same accont login, you can access your characters in the PC and the PS2 version.

Yes, you can share your account on PC and PS2. Everything is saved on the servers, so if you decide to play on PC you'll have everything you did on PS2 minus your Story Mode progress (which is only saved on the memory card). You can't use your 360 character on PS2 or PC since 360 is on a different server entirely, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Lukage Nov 3, 2006 12:57 PM

Woot! My EB called me because they found a copy of the PC version mixed in with their others!

*installs* Too bad I work tonight. :(

Kalekkan Nov 3, 2006 06:25 PM

Gonna start up another group tonight. If anyone wants in, send me a simple mail. I also have 2 alts that I haven't really touched yet if any of you would prefer I use a lower level character.

Kenichi Nov 3, 2006 06:50 PM

Okay, I'll probably be on around 9:30 CST, maybe sooner, maybe later.

Inhert Nov 3, 2006 10:46 PM

I'm currently online but I'm only lv 10 anyone want to meet and do some mission? XD

Jujubee Nov 4, 2006 12:03 AM

Hey guys. I'm really sorry about leaving without coming back again. I was having some PC problems and I'm getting pretty tired. I didn't want to join for just another 30 minutes before logging again. I'll definitely be on tomorrow night without any problems.

Soldier Nov 4, 2006 12:12 AM

Honestly, I haven't gotten back into this game since FFXII came out. It's gotten my full attention, especially since my playtime has been limited due to the remoldeling in my upstairs and room. But I do plan to get back into the game shortly (especially since I already paid for the month), although I was around level 12 last time I checked.

Any mention when Sega will open up the other areas?

Lacerta Nov 4, 2006 12:21 AM

They said "hold your horses, it's too soon for any updates" ;____;

Sega hates.

Soldier Nov 4, 2006 12:33 AM

Not as much as "Want to play Earthbound 3? Go play Ness in Smash Bros instead".

And a big thanks to Kalekkan (Tenki in PSU) for screencaping my character for my new Sig below.

Thank you again!

Ugh.....seems my gamepad forces my character to walk when in missions and sometimes cities. Took 3 hours to get to level 3 and I don't see this speeding up any time soon. Am I alone on this issue?

No, you're not. I remember playing a mission with some strangers one time and someone was complaining about running so slow compared to everyone else, but I thought that person just bumped their head or something.

If you're on PC, I highly recommend just getting used to the keyboard. In the end, IMO, it's much better.

BIGWORM Nov 4, 2006 10:16 AM

I would have to agree with Manny on that point. Using the kb isn't as hard as one would think. It's actually harder mapping the buttons correctly more than anything.

Lukage Nov 4, 2006 11:52 AM

I prefer not to use the mouse if I have to use the keyboard...used to shooters. I'll be on this afternoon with a buddy on Universe 6 probably.

Inhert Nov 4, 2006 12:02 PM

you don't use the mouse at all in this game only the keyboard >.>

Kenichi Nov 4, 2006 12:12 PM

When I play the PC version (which is rarely), I use a controller. I have an Xbox to PC USB adapter, so I use an Xbox controller with the buttons mapped like PSOX was. It's pretty nice.

Kalekkan Nov 4, 2006 12:44 PM

Personally I've been enjoying the XBOX360 controller on the PC. I found out that Microsoft no longer makes sidewinder gamepads and are standardizing with the 360 controller. It works a lot better than keyboard for me because using keyboard for hours on end in games hurts my hands a bit :(

Sorry, would've grabbed you last night but we had a full group.

Your welcome. It looks like they turned out real nice too!

Cobalt Katze Nov 4, 2006 01:30 PM

Nice shots Kairi~

Been recently working on updating my wardrobe in the game, but I'm not quite done yet... because none of the shirts are really to my liking. I'm hoping there's some cool stuff on Moatoob!

Kairi Li Nov 4, 2006 03:05 PM

I bought a PS2 to USB converter from Radio Shack, plugged my PS2 controller, and after some time of re configuring every button, it now works like a dream. I recommend that if you're looking for converters. They might have Xbox ones as well.

And thanks Kalekkan, I like how it turned out too.

Lukage Nov 4, 2006 04:05 PM

Bah, keyboard settings still move me slowly and attack slowly. Starting to think it's a problem with my installation of the game... :(
