Shield grenade.

Basically it looks like it creates in an invincible shield for a fraction of a second. A very neat idea.

Also worth speculating is that the big X button thing is a sprint. If it worked like the Roadie Run in Gears, that'd be pretty sweet. (IE, you can't really turn very sharply, you can't shoot while doing it, etc.)

Seems like he's making a dust cover to add a bit of surprise to when he'll jump them. Only he runs out of it forever :/

When he jumps into the group of aliens, the one in the middle looks like a Brute with a big hammer and a shield. New melee weapons then? I was hoping they'd have killed off the Brutes to be honest, I didn't really think they added much to game personally.

Did anyone read in Game Informer about a demo being released on Marketplace? They said it would be the only demo you would have to pay for, and its supposed to be a way to keep attention off the new consoles.

Man, I'm loving the new trailer. The video looks awesome and I has gotten me completely trusting that the hype is not just hype that this game is going to be good when it comes out.

The shield nade looks like an awesome weapon but the question is if they're going to use it or if it's just eye candy that they're using?

Another question is how would you use it? Would you just throw it and have a shield pop up where it lands, or would you automatically throw it at your feet deku nut style. Both ways would be useful.

Shield is cool, but what about online play? It would be cool if you could protect a team mate aswell, what about if everyone chucks one and create some uber shield.
