Thanks that kinda worked. The default mugen without any screenpack works perfectly now. However when I put the MFJ screenpack it still crashes. What drivers do I put?

I should investigate on how to make characters. I've seen character works that were actually rip-offed from anime screenshots and I've seen many hand drawn as well. I know it's not as simple as it sounds though.. I'm a decent artist myself.

It must be the screenpack if it's crashing and all. Word of advice: not all screenpacks work. I don't think the sound has anything to do with the screenpack and most of the oens that do work have their own drivers.

Yeah the intro for the MFJ screenpack has the sound working perfectly now but it still crashes after a while. I do think it's just the screenpack now, but at least I fixed the sound problem.

EDIT: Nope, I tried another screenpack, the MvC1 screenpack, and that still doesn't work. I don't know why this is happening though since he default mugen works fine and the screenpacks work on my PC.

I'm not a fan of laptops and I don't know too much about them, but maybe its your hard drive, mugen does create cache files and that could take up some space, let alone the files you add (sound,stages,chars,screenpacks). Laptopts are known for their lack of proper space well not most of them but PCs are more advanced in the hard drive area. My advice: delete files that serve no purpose from your harddrive.

lordmbison, I had the same problem, and I fixed it by removing the sound folder from the WinMugen folder. You may have more luck, but you can try that as a last resort if you want.

That's the beauty of mugen, you can edit almost everything. All these charactere were edited by me, and yes every fighter has it's onw portrait with 2 other team members and the assigned stage visible in the background. I may upload it someday... ^^;
