Hopefully this is true, if so make note to download the patch later today, especially if you plan on attending the next friday gathering. It includes a new map and hopefully fixes a number of bugs that have cropped up in the game.

So sorry Freelance Wolf, looks like you'll have to install another patch so soon after reinstalling the game ;)

I can't even install 1.3 without burning/deleting more stuff first :( Either that or I have some other problems.

Rats, no idea how long it will take for the patch to be out now. Hopefully whatever issue they're talking about will be quick to fix. Hopefully they'll take care of the major issues with this patch though, since the last few have added a few bugs to the game.

Cool, last thing we needed was for ANOTHER person to be out of commission. That would've been almost the entire group!

And yeah, not sure what's up with the patch. Oh well, something to look forward to at least.

My computer is kicking and back in commission, and I must say, BF2 is a whole new game with the right hardware. Did this today on a full 64 man server

well I just kinda moved back to Florida so I was out of commission for about a week. Seems like things are settling down again so I can probably play this week, As long as nothing comes up.

Heh, thanks to everyone who made it for tonight's session. We hopped onto a server only to find out the people on our side sucked : / We were getting raped in every bloody round, so I forced everyone to go to another server, in which Taco had to go shortly after. Luckily for us, our side was infinitely much better than the other server, and we won all rounds in Taco's absence. Poor Taco didn't get to bask in the glory of our victories.

damn, I forgot to check in and play because I was too busy trying to set up my new cell phone plan. eeerrg :(

I work Fridays so I logged some hours last night in the late night hours. Top Medic and top Resupply and heal! :p

Oooh - I've been playing a downloaded copy of BF2 for awhile, but finally got tired of slaugtering computer after computer.

Is it worth it to get the game and play online? these are my system specs:

Plenty of HDD space (200GB+)

Erm, yes. Playing online is a gazillion times better than playing single, so yes, buy it. NOW.
