Episode 6 was awesome. Just rendering different colored clothes/swimsuits, Interchangeable music and Nagato's mask positions.

Reminds me of that marathon they have on TNT/TBS every christmas...

And this is why they can get away with stunts like this.

What sub groups are you guys watching from?

I been watching from Yuki... except they are slow as hell (2 episodes behind, but their vid quality is pretty decent.)

I just watch afk because they are the group that did season one and they're fucking good.

They are first released as mkv's by Mazui. Don't really care who subs it. AFK does a perfect job though.

I know that AFK did wonderful with the DVD-rip for the first weason, and for second season do they prodvide 720p version? I only see .AVI one with small screen.

Haruhi does not air in HD. Anything claiming to be is just an upscale. a.f.k. pretty much uses the proper ratio in his encodes, so I'd stick with that.

They should've at least start episode 4 (and going ) with Kyon killing himself a million times like Phil Conners then would make it worth watching. Guess they dont care ;p

This has been making the rounds post-Otakon and while it doesn't say a whole lot, it does shed a bit more light about the matter. Still doesn't reveal whether this is Kyo-Ani's doing or whether Kadokawa is behind the shenanigans. Just hoping for a decent payoff.

7th episode, and still nothing new. Well, considering it's endless eight, I would assume there are only 2 episodes of infinite loop left.

People have already discussed this elsewhere, but I think the ballsiest move that they could possibly make is to inexplicably skip the ending episode to this endless eight saga and move on to some completely different storyline. The rage would be hilarious.

The only hope for this "Endless Eight" to sell well in the US is if they compress it into a movie. Can't wait for the last episode...just one more week =3

Most people are under the optimistic assumption this will end on the 8th Endless Eight, which is the one after next week's.

I however am under the more cynical one, the one where it won't end till Semptember, the end of summer, fucking arrives.

I just do. I know the future >=P

Anyway, I think most people skim through the episodes to find anything different. I just watch the whole thing (minus the horrible OP+ED). Buuuut now I think I'm heading in that road to just skip scenes and watch them in like 10 seconds like I do for Bleach.

It honestly feels like the show is a little kid who poured himself way too much cereal and the mother comes in and says "Are you really going to eat all of that!" And just to show that he can he keeps and eating and eating no matter how full ge gets.
My point being is that the show has become a fucking dick who doesn't know when to stop pouring the goddam cereal.

I would rather have more of Haruhi-chan. They were short but at least they were in a straight timeline.

Wouldn't it be funny if we find out that the whole second season is just Endless Eight? Since the disagreements or whatnot back then, they just decided to animate 13 episodes of this crap and waited for the stalemate to end so they could air this shit as revenge? They'll then tell us that "Disappearance" will air next year.

That would be fucking hilarious!!
