Okay, so from what I gather in the scan above states...

Starts on 3rd of October on Nippon Channel every Tuesday midnight 00:56~~ (OMG who can actually stay awake and watch every episode at that time?)
Also from the poster, the top left hand corner little Misa is saying "They are almost done deciding the character's color scheme".
Also the 5 main characters have already been allocated a VA.

Thats like less than 1 month left... will they be able to push the anime out in time?... looks like they still have some way to go... :S

Ryuk's looks badass but his teeth looks original like a human XD.

A big 1up to Madhouse for their Hardwork making the anime look just as good as the manga. Tis' Fire. ^^

As for voice actors, Ryuk will be voiced as the same voice actor from the Live action movie. We should all be familiar with his voice . He also work on the 5th One Piece movie as Saga.

Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya) will do the job for Misa Amane. I think I see this as a good idea for some odd reason..

And finally, Haruka Kudou will work on Sayu. For those who dont know her, she did a perfect job as Hagumi Hanamoto from Honey and Clover.

As you said Chato, the drawing and color does seem much on par with the manga! Whos the studio that is doing DN anime? I want HnG's studio to do the animation, coz they did a great adaptation of Obata's drawing in HnG anime~!

Im not familiar with any of them... Can anyone tell me if this composer is any good? This comes as a shock to me cause i was expecting Kenji Kawai or Taku Iwasaki...

I've only read the first six volumes of the manga so far(volume seven is in the mail). Wonder if they will change anything to make the story more consise to fit into its episode count?

Yoshihisa Hirano... hmm... not too farmiliar with her work but I have heard most of the OST stating above. Her slow songs, or so call melancholy songs, are beautiful. More fast paced tracks such as Beyblade, Doki Doki, are quite common as in beat and melodic wise. Haven't heard her compose much 'mystery' or 'suspence' tracks yet.

In one of her concert I have been to, most of her music are new-aged type, I guess she could be a excellent choice because her ability to express emotions through her songs. But do expect a lot of piano and string work with her... :)

In relation to the movies, The Last Name trailer is finally out. Looking at this is probably a done deal that L will indeed die in this one. So maybe we'll see 2 more movies -.-;. Remu is seen in this trailer.

I'm pretty sure I saw a scan which revealed that new female character's name, but I'm not sure if it was her.

If the movie manages to take the plot of DN and make it its own without going into the crummy Mello/Near stuff, then props to the producers.

Many say it's probably Takada. I didn't really like her that much. She was a kira worshipper;fine, but still boring in the 2nd arc.

I just realized the theatrical release comes out the same day the anime will air. Joy >=].

Too bad the manga went down the drain. The first half was commendable though- who needs a cyclical structure in manga?
