She should've followed him out and screamed at him, tried to slap him, or shit, take him out of the title run. Ah, well, we'll see what unfolds next week on SmackDown.

Good to see the old RWB ropes again, brings back memories (dunno why).

I don't mean it in a negative way, but it sounds like a pretty boiler-plate setup for a swerve down the line. Both of the main players there are drawing huge heat as heels; there would be no sense in turning either face.

You are 100% right, but I will add that the WWE is very random in the "making sense" department.

Slash Jul 7, 2008 02:25 AM

Apparently Moose from TNA (Mickie Knuckles) Broke her leg.

Well that sure does suck because the bimbo brawls on TNA were getting to be quite interesting.

mortis Jul 7, 2008 04:34 AM

So...I have been away for a week and missed Raw.

So, during this time away, I play some Raw Vs Smackdown! 2008 on my PSP. More specifically, I played Punk Vs Edge for the World title with PUnk winning. I thought to myself, "Now that would be pretty cool but we all know it won't happen. Punk will lose his MITB case to someone else who will cash it in."

Imagine my surprise when I finally got a chance to read up on what happened on Raw.

And I am taking it that by now, a week later, I don't have to spoiler this.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. Raw has a slew of challenges who could easily win the title. I'm interested to see if they will let Punk go through them, thereby enchancing his name and profile. Or if they will have him lose within weeks. So far, they managed to avoid having Punk have a hallow, Tommy Dreamer-like title reign when they had him beat JBL.

True. They're teasing MVP going face as well. Hopefully they drop that notion too. Let him build more legit heat so that a face turn doesn't seem forced or premature, like Mr. Kennedy's.

mortis Jul 7, 2008 05:20 AM

I think MVP isn't going to go face. There are already too many faces including Trips, Hardy, and Kennedy, with Undertaker possibly being another choice as well.

Slash Jul 7, 2008 02:41 PM

I like MVP as more of a Tweener because he has the whole "stop fucking around with me" type thing between him and Vickie but he still beats the shit out of faces.

SuperSonic Jul 7, 2008 08:08 PM

The beginning of Raw gave me a headache, even with a low volume.

Spoiler:
Excuse me? EXCUSE ME?! EX-CUSE ME?!! My God, is Vickie always like that?

Slash Jul 7, 2008 08:33 PM

I thought the beginning of RAW was pretty damn funny.
Spoiler:
good to see Kane at least getting put back into the Main Event spotlight

wow...Hass on RAW again. interesting

SuperSonic Jul 8, 2008 09:06 AM

Spoiler:
Good to see that Batista is the #1 contender while Cena and JBL can have their feud. I'm actually starting to like Cena...I think it's where he's without the belt.

Kane snapping in the end there saying "Is he alive or dead?" Well, that can only mean one thing...guess who's coming to Raw? :)

SimDaddyGT Jul 8, 2008 12:25 PM

Spoiler:
Well, that's assuming Vince decided to void Vickie's ban on him, but of course, Vince has been "Injured" for the past couple weeks, so he's probably "not in the position to make decisions like that".

It's sad. I could have been there last night, since I live an hour and a half away, but I totally never thought about getting a ticket. I could have seen Kane do this shit in person, and actually maybe HEAR HIM ASK THAT QUESTION!!!!, because I couldn't really hear anything with the crowd's mixed emotions on the exclusive video.

But I honestly had no idea the writers wanted to push Kane back to a heel. Go figure, it happens after he returns to the show where his main heel run took place.

mortis Jul 8, 2008 07:03 PM

Of course...we all know that...

Spoiler:

Kane is asking about Paul Bearer. Ooooooooh yes!

DarthSavior Jul 8, 2008 09:25 PM

Awww man, can't believe no one mentioned the part where:

Spoiler:
That fan ran in front of Batista and started dancing before the commercial break:

YouTube Video

Spoiler:

Okay...so Chris Harris is on ECW now...wtf was he eatin because he just gained a crap load of weight and is looking EXTREMELY slow now.

Plus that flying cross body to finish the match...the fuck?! Seriously. Harris is capable of so much more, not to mention the cross body was really crappy

Darsh Jul 9, 2008 02:17 AM

^ yeah, this cant be the same guy that put on a 4 out of 5 star match with james storm like 7 months ago. btw, I remember watching Impact where they headlined the show with a no disqualification match. Anyone know which ep (by date) that was? I really want to hunt it down.

Slash Jul 9, 2008 02:28 AM

I think the idea of TNA getting rid of AMW was the dumbest thing ever because AMW whether heel or face, they still put on amazing matches.

Then again. WWE under-utilizes like...their ENTIRE roster.

not to mention after the AMW breakup, Harris was Main-Eventing and was even in the TNA Title king of the mountain match...and after that just nothing.

lol i love batista's face after that.. he's like do I look that retarded?

mortis Jul 9, 2008 09:10 AM

That has to be one of the top LOL moments I have seen ina long, long, long time, wrestling-wise.

Winter Storm Jul 9, 2008 07:48 PM

Is Kane really asking about Paul Bearer, or is he involved in this McMahon assassination the Undertaker has started? And whats with shit falling lately? CM Punk almost got hit with a light stand.

SimDaddyGT Jul 9, 2008 11:35 PM

After watching the actual footage of the assault after the fatal 4-way, I'm really starting to wonder myself who he's asking about. Undertaker's not dead, just banished, and I don't remember what exactly happened to Paul Bearer. Someone mind refreshing me on that?

As far as Vince goes, well...

This sudden change in Kane's character definitely makes me watch Raw again with extra interest. I've always been attached to his "monstrous" role since his unmasking.

Slash Jul 10, 2008 12:15 AM

Paul Bearer

Great American Bash like..2003 or 2004, something like that

The Undertaker vs. The Dudleys w/ Paul Heyman.

Stipulation, Taker must lose or Bearer gets covered in Cement in a glass coffin. Taker beats the Dudleys, strikes lighting on the Cement truck thus stopping it, then fills it himself "after"* the GAB

*the final stunt was done way before hand for obvious reasons.

At least, that was the last time I remember bearer on TV.

SuperSonic Jul 10, 2008 01:08 AM

It had to have been in 2004 because that's when Wrestlemania 20 was, right? That's when he returned with the Undertaker and I seem to remember him shouting at Kane, "You're no SON of mine!"

Every time I see Paul Bearer come back, to me he looks like he gets bigger. I wonder if this time it'll be any different.

Hes actually looking really healthy. Part of the deal, which was VERY nice on behalf of the WWE is that if he came back, they would help pay for his Gastric Bypass surgery.

WWE: Superstars > Where Are They Now? > Catching up with Paul Bearer

SuperSonic Jul 10, 2008 09:29 AM

Oh man, I thought there might have been something wrong with him. :( I had no idea he was over 500 pounds! I never saw him as weighing that much...maybe around 400, but not more than that.

It's good to see he's doing well though, that man is a legend himself.

Winter Storm Jul 14, 2008 10:57 PM

Spoiler:
I did like that 5-10 second take where Cena wasn't anywhere near the car as JBL was approaching it >_>. This is one giant clusterfuck, but it's been an entertaining clusterfuck. So Beth is now going to be the new established "Chyna" of the WWE. How interesting.
