Considering that Glenn and Cal would be he only two able to do anything, i doubt the game would go very far. Since we're not allowed to go anywhere, Cal wouldn't be able to get the party into trouble, and would probably spend his time trying to chisel any remaining prospective loot from the chimney, or he'd just start picking at the walls looking for treasure. He could talk to someone i guess but i don't think the local denizens are going to give us much more information than they already have.
Glenn would be perfectly content to sit in a corner for the entire duration of the time when no one else was making something happen because he doesn't talk to people much. I don't think he's said a single word since joining the group. |
Oh no, if I was playing the part of the omnipotent dungeon keeper, interesting shit would happen without you opening any doors.

The art is a tad cartoony for my tastes, in comparison to the good-looking fantasy art we get with official Wizards of the Coast sourcebooks. Still, might be a nice read.

You guys know that if you let Zerg steer the boat all on his lonesome long enough, you eventually count as NPCs and become valid targets for his organ-harvesting, right?
Like, right now, he's trying to investigate a suspicious bit of architecture by shooting at it. We all remember how that went last time. |
Not that my turn will ever come up within the decade, but if it does, chalk me up for a half-orc monk.
|
Somebody start a fight so I can determine if Skex is paying attention. Just attack the staircase or something. Maybe it's a mimic.
|
Or a gelatinous cube in a very tricky pose?
|
Are Garr and Skex STILL hungover from the meet? Amateurs.
Also, is my character supposed to know yet that Cal is a changeling? |
Cal hasn't shapeshifted in Puyet's presence, but who's to know the other members haven't filled him in?
Such knowledge is entirely up to your choice. :) |
Yeah, we just generally assume that everybody in the party knows everything that anyone else in the party knows, because fuck keeping notes.

I roll for intimidate, correct? Or is it a straight stats check?
If it's a roll, then I succeed and DM can make monkey do whatever, because monkeys.... wtf. |
Yes, you can go ahead and roll - it's a standard action. If I'm not mistaken, it's opposing the creature's will defense.
Technically, the rules state that intimidate will only work once the creature is bloodied. Though, Pang's the final arbiter. |
Pang house ruled them into minor actions, so I used it in place of a move action.
The rulebook says I can coerce them to do some kind of action but doesn't specify, so I assume we can be creative with that. |
So I saw this picture and thought of the game is there something wrong with me?

I think you also get a +2 to hitting that ape, due to my daily, Zerg.
|
Zeph I need to know what you want Banana Ape to be intimidated into before I can take his turn :(

BTW Zeph, you can shift anywhere by 1 square when standing up, since I'm occupying the current space. It would be great if you controller/leader guys can announce any beneficial effects your powers might give! |
Monkey sucks on momma silver ape's titty.
Also, I didn't announce that because I was FAIRLY confident I was going to kill the |
I am not going to roll my dice for this one yet because I am not sure if charge means I have to use a move action AND a standard action, or if they count as one standard together. If it doesn't work, I am just going to use second wind where I am standing.
Also, Hawkeye, I think that bonus from me only works against the one that died already. |
Charge is a standard action, with a tacked on attack (you get a +1 to the attack roll) at the end. You can't take any actions afterwards unless you burn an action point.
BTW, Green ape has taken 45 HP damage. For reference, red ape took 32 + 9 = 41 HP damage before my ranged basic (17) killed it. It's entirely possible the monkey has already died. ____ Pang, for purposes of determining cover, which of the squares block off shots? |

Pang, may I retroactively apply Spitting Cobra Stance attack for this round towards Yellow Ape? :)
With Zeph moving towards L13, I figure Mr. Silverback will have no reason to move closer. |
July 2 was GFF D&D's 2nd anniversary! :cmbirthday:
But what does this mean for you? First, it means that you level up after the gorilla battle thanks to a birthday bonus of 730 XP each! Second, it means "wvlfpvp, send me a 7th-level character sheet; we're making this a sextet." Third, it means a new game of Werewolf! Quote:
