No, he PMed it to me. It is, indeed, silly as hell, but I prefer not to use photographic images for tokens if I can avoid it.

He could always make it his avatar here, like Shin did with the original Scary Bob.

Then bob became a girl and things got awkward.

edit: holy jailhouse batman

We'll get you back lurker, don't worry. Matter of time til we kill Bob.

The unmovable stubborn May 22, 2009 03:41 AM

It's amazing Bob has lived as long as he has, considering how good some of the Horde's "defenders" are at defending him.

No. Hard Pass. May 22, 2009 03:51 AM

I had no idea how to build a paladin when we started. If I could start him over, he'd be way more durable and happy to let bad guys hit him rather than Bob.

Zergrinch May 22, 2009 04:11 AM

I am surprised no one has looted Argumentus' 72-gp war pick of frost :3:

The unmovable stubborn May 22, 2009 04:47 AM

Yeah, you'd think they'd want to get something out of that, since pretty much the entire reward for the Crusader adventure went into buying the damn thing.

(well, also Brigid got a magic knife; they didn't loot that off her body either)

Zergrinch May 22, 2009 05:17 AM

What body :tpg:

I figured they (excepting Bob (who's a prick ())) had respect for the dead.

wvlfpvp May 22, 2009 10:22 PM

Did you miss the part where the paladin stabbed the fuck out of the corpse "just to make sure it wasn't going to move?"

The unmovable stubborn May 22, 2009 10:43 PM

Paladins walk a thin line between respecting the dead and kicking the shit out of the ones that don't know how to stay dead.

It is a narrow balance, and we cannot judge those who stumble :(

No. Hard Pass. May 22, 2009 10:51 PM

That's why we follow Kord. He doesn't give a shit who we rough up, so long as we rough someone up.

The unmovable stubborn May 23, 2009 02:37 AM

Alright, LeHah, you're "live", so to speak. Hope my introduction didn't mis-characterize Delic too badly.

Guys, I found some new scans that might help motivate everyone to get the game moving along at a brisker pace:

Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

The unmovable stubborn May 23, 2009 10:16 PM

That is some of the densest linework I've ever seen on a coloring book. It's like they knew the target audience would just put it in a baggie and stick it on a shelf rather than actually give it to a kid or anything.

Araes May 24, 2009 03:25 PM

Always liked the 2nd Ed. era as it didn't have that feeling around it. Sure, it had the same people who went crazy collector over Bronze Era comic stuff, but at least they used their D&D books rather than buying them for resale.

Course, I'm sure TSR would have liked it if they could have built up that type of collectibles obsession. Might have been them putting out mini's rather than Wizards.

Also, the hydra picture is awesome, and I may have to give a poor try at coloring that.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss May 26, 2009 05:10 AM

Awesome. A gay elf and his unknowingly bi-curious dwarf boyfriend take a boat trip with a guy dressed as a camp pirate and a young noble with a penchant for pre-op transexuals. Gabe's going to fucking love the next adventure!

Pang, has Bob got time to buy a stuffed parrot to stick on his shoulder before the boat leaves? I would go with an eye-patch but you wouldn't be able to see it under his new mask. Although I suppose he could wear it over his mask...

knkwzrd May 26, 2009 09:38 AM

Are the cannons loaded already?

Would a flame burst fire a cannon if it was loaded?

The unmovable stubborn May 26, 2009 09:56 AM

I can't imagine they would just leave the guns loaded, no. It would be pretty unsafe as a general practice. If you wanted to go to the trouble of loading them I suppose fire is fire, though it might be more practical to borrow one of Delic's torches

Well looks like I accidentally introduced gunpowder weapons into the campaign

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss May 26, 2009 10:43 AM

Does the boat have backup oars at all?

I mean, if someone were to attempt to dislodge the wizard from the top of the mast by setting fire to it, would the boat be set adrift?

And more importantly, when can Bob get cool spells that let him teleport around and shit?

The unmovable stubborn May 26, 2009 10:51 AM

Added in the pirate defense scores, sorry about that.

I don't see any oars, no. As far as teleporting goes Dimension Door is Level 6 and it's close enough to teleporting as to make no difference.

As far as the mast goes somebody can just climb the damn thing why else have half of you got all those ranks in Athletics and Acrobatics?

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss May 26, 2009 11:41 AM

Oh no, climbing it is a much better idea, I just thought setting fire to it so everyone had to row the rest of the way would be funnier.

So who's up for a pre-emptive retalitory strike on the pirate ship? If we jump aboard and start scuttling their boat the pirates will soon leave the merchants alone, right?

Misogynyst Gynecologist May 26, 2009 11:44 AM

I assume my character is at S29?

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss May 26, 2009 11:51 AM

What map are you looking at? That's a barrel or something I think, I assumed yours is the winsome visage at X29.
