Haha no ammo. Oh Brady...
How far is arm reach from prone? Can Arg grab the ghoul's ankles from where he is currently situated? If there were so little Arg could practically do, why wait around 48 hours for his turn ___________ It'd be handy if you can wiki-fy all those symbols, Pang. I'm sure down the line I'm not going to be the only one asking, and it'll be challenging to find this particular post by then. |
Since he's only one square large, I'd be shocked if his reach was longer than a square. Then his arms would be dragging on the ground. He'd all be tripping over his hands, it'd be a huge mess.
if Brady hasn't taken back control by the time Arg moves again, why don't you improvise throwing something? That's what he does. |
Yeah, the only way to reach over a full 5 foot space is to have Reach or be Stretch Armstrong.
You'd think with the rate I immobilize people one of them would have grabbed a spear or something for situations just like this. But no. (What's there to throw? Sludge? Actually, yeah, go ahead and throw the sludge) |

In the unlikely event that Brady doesn't regain control before Arg's next turn comes up, how feasible is it to carve out a chunk of stone from the floor using the pick, and throw/slingshot it to the ghoul in one swift motion? :3:
Though now that you mention it, slinging sludge sounds suitably superb! |
Throwing the sludge might not be a good idea on account of the baddies' likely resistance to necrotic damage (which necrotic sludge would no doubt do).
If you throw enough slime around they might start falling over though and attacking prone enemies is one of the things we're best at.
You roll saves once a turn, at the end of your turn. People can give you extra saves via various methods but it doesn't happen much.
Saving throws happen at the end of every turn.
EDIT: well never mind |
Man, why are crossbows so powerful... and that's with bonus from prone already o.O
Going prone does nothing to reduce damage, it just increases the chance of ranged weapons missing. It was only just barely a hit, if it's any consolation.
Anyway both Deni and Brady have been MIA for about a week now and both of them have been posting elsewhere (so Deni's "ban" apparently wasn't) so if either of them haven't checked in by Friday their respective character will be retired at the end of the current battle. Sorry boys but I got too many people in line to be waitin' on slow bitches |
I just went and checked Deni in modcp and yeah he isn't banned and he isn't in any special user group. Where you at, beardbro? =I
I WAS banned. I just got let back in yesterday evening. For not buying a game that wasn't released in my country. The audacity of me. Also, I checked the thread. I wasn't up for another few turns.
looool Klonoa isn't out in Canada yet? I can't tell who is the bigger dick - Miles or Namco.
spoiler alert: Miles runs Namco.
It's out now. Played my copy a bunch. Way better than with the gamecube controller, for the record.
This would be an excellent time for one of you to propose a clever plan that will get the Horde out of this without a TPK or a Deus Ex Machina :(
PS: It would also be a good time for the rest of you to actually pay attention to said plan, should one be proposed. It's called teamwork (??) PPS: "Run Away" is a plan |
What, you don't like Soggy calling for Deus?
I am pretty sure Soggy blew any divine favors he may have accrued when he sold babies to satan.
So he doesn't care for little kids, so what. I DID SATAN A FAVOR. COME PAY ME BACK, BUDDY.
Satan: I'M NOT YOUR BUDDY, GUY.
TAG ME IN. I CAN TOTALLY DO THIS.
While I am morally obliged to keep Brady's character alive, TPK is starting to sound kinda interesting by the minute! I mean, Brady's up about and posting, and since Pang says Argy gets retired after the battle, whether he dies during or after the fight should be irrelevant :3:
Why is the Horde in imminent danger of annihilation when little gnome is in retreat? Or is he going to call in some reinforcements? |
