The Dungeons & Dragons arcade games technically if you use 1 credit. But if that doesnt' fly, then I'll go with Contra as I simply cannot dodge that well. Same goes for any game where you dodge crap flying at you, like the Raiden games.

I'd say NARC for NES. the enemies were really too much, and even with infinite lives, i still couldn't kill the last boss (;>_<)

The first picture posted by OmniSlash appears to be some kind of Harvest Moon game, possibly for the GBA.

#3 is "3 Ninjas".

#4 looks oddly familiar, maybe "Shining in the Darkness"?

I remember this one, it's that Zelda clone for the Mega Drive, Soleil. It was called Ragnacenty in Japan and Crusader of Centy in the US.
