Oh man, I miss the "Who Quoted Me?" feature so damn much. Please bring it back ASAP. It seems I'm not the only one who has expressed a desire to see it again, too.

Just to add to the list of things I've said that won''t happen:

Perhaps dynamic image resizing... or at least in journals.

Also, I broke'd the journal. If you insert a broken "HTML comment", things break if you go back to edit the post; even though things look okay whe people read the entry and/or comment. For example,

I don't know if anyone has suggested this, but a "preview your entry" for ChocoJournal would be very handy.

Why aren't the gender icons showing up these days? The option is this there, so why aren't they being displayed?

I can't see lurker's gender, though! There's a ? where there should be a gnder icon! Bobo must solve this internet mystery for me!

I don't see gender icons either....on very rare occassions, I will see one, and I don't know why that is.

Gender icons do show up in profiles though, if that helps.

UPDATE: Oh my. After my post went through, I saw my own icon here, but it only showed up for my latest post. Then, when I refreshed the page, the icon diaappeared. Maybe there's wrong wrong with the coding.

That's the way it works for me as well. Strange that it works fine for some but not everyone.

I tried looking at this thread in Firefox, IE, and Opera, and between all three of them, I did not see the gender icons.

They all show up for me on Firefox.

I just tried accessing the site with IE and there's no gender icons either. Oh well, it's not like it's important. If I want to know someone's gender, and I rarely do, I can just check their profiles, which only takes me a mere three seconds to do.

I don't know what to tell you then. If it was the way GFF was coded, it would be sustained and not erratic. I know that I've never had a problem. If you look at the top of this page of this thread, you'll see Agent Marty doesn't have one, but that's because gender icons weren't in place before he registered and he hasn't altered his User CP at all (which would change him to a ? if he didn't pick one). But that's about the only issue we're aware of.

Gender icons never worked for me in either IE nor Firefox ever since the last crash.

For me, they only show up on my own posts. Weird.

About the gender icons: there's not even an option for what your gender is anymore. WTF.

There is an option, regardless. User CP -> Edit options.

Not really. I was just curious as to why it had been implemented overnight. It only truly interferes with my posting in the Testing Forum. No big deal. :)
