Could someone rip Cosmic Spacehead for the Genesis, please? I've looked and I can't even find a gym rip of it.
Would a VGM rip suffice? I'm in the middle of one rip, but I might be able to do it when I'm done. Does Cosmic Spacehead have a sound test?

Sireef Jul 21, 2006 03:49 AM

Yes, a vgm rip should suffice. I can convert vgm files to mp3, so that should be okay, thanks! As far as I know, Cosmic Spacehead doesn't have a sound test, unfortunately.

starfall7911 Jul 21, 2006 01:22 PM

my requests

Sega Saturn - Shining the Holy Ark (I hate the arranged version so many people have)

Genesis - Ghostbusters (what? does no one have this one)

NES - Little Nemo - The Dream Master
Journey to Silius
Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers
Batman

I am tempted to hire Boba Fett to find these.. some dude in Berkley told me where I could get in touch with him.

cubed Jul 21, 2006 04:11 PM

I have a Batman rip and a Chip'n Dale Rescue Ranger rip. Batman is from Tappy I think. The other ripper, I don,t have a clue. CL ?

Kaleb.G Jul 21, 2006 05:04 PM

All of those NES games should have rips floating around. And if any do not, I'll make them myself, because they have some good music.

You could just download the emulated sound files from zophar.net (and then use WinAmp's diskwriter to convert the files to .wav). That's the type of rip you would be most likely to find anyway.

Yeah, all the nes ones can be found as nsf's on zophar.

As for Ghostbusters for the Genesis, get something that'll play vgms like in_vgm for winamp and then go here. Actually, you can get the in_vgm over there for winamp if you want on their home/main page as well.

By the way, that's the first time I've seen a request for a game on the Saturn. I'll place it in Retro Systems for now.

Edit: I also see that this is your first post. Welcome to GFF. :D

Yes, but unfortunately the theme for the final dungeon, Demon Shaft, isn't on it, which is why I figured requesting a rip wouldn't do any harm.

Indeed, it's a shame that Demon Shaft wasn't included on the OST. I guess they ran out of space on the CD, but I really wish they had found a way to squeeze it in since I think it's the only real missing track.

Anyway, I ripped this particular theme way back in 2003 when I first joined GFF, but I was a game rip newbie at the time so the quality was pretty bad. I've re-ripped it in APX VBR and attached it to this post. Enjoy!

Thank you SO MUCH Lian_Kazairl *__*~~~! I really appreciate it ToT! It sounds gorgeous~~~~~!

Also, SuperSonic, seeing as that was really the only reason for my requesting the rip in the first place (and is really, as Lian_Kazairl said, the only missing track), do you think you could remove Dark Cloud from the list ^^?

You can just get the NSF file from here:
http://www.zophar.net/nsf/tom.zip

:)

SuperSonic Jul 24, 2006 01:20 PM

Kaleb, is that the same game? I saw that one too on Zophar and checked to make sure it was the same game. It didn't look like it. :(

eriol33 Jul 24, 2006 01:21 PM

I've made request of Pocket Fighter for PSX. Apparantly GH hosts the rip, but it's still untitled. Could someone help to tracklist the rip?

I don't know. But I never heard the music myself, so I'm not ripping it.

We're talking about ripping music from FF7 pc right? or did you request the FF7 pc game for winxp? wrong thread buddy.

agreatguy6 Jul 24, 2006 03:29 PM

I thought there was somthing wrong with its placement.

Toodles!

Kaleb.G Jul 24, 2006 04:44 PM

Has anyone ripped Narbacular Drop? If not, I plan to rip it.

Basil Jul 24, 2006 05:10 PM

Just to make a couple of corrections...

1) Ridge Racer 6 for Xbox 360 has already been ripped. I don't know who the ripper is, but he's probably someone from the VGMCentral hub. I have it, and Teioh has it, but I don't know who else has it.

2) There is a Battalion Wars DSP rip over at this site. I plan on converting it to mp3 though, it's one of my next projects.

SuperSonic Jul 24, 2006 06:47 PM

Welcome back Blue_Kirby! :D I made the corrections, thanks for the info!

On the downloads page for the game, there's a free OST link.

Burp Jul 25, 2006 05:17 AM

Has anyone here rips Nintendo Puzzle Collection? specially Panel de Pon songs... >_< i really waiting years for a rip of this.

Un_Colombiano Jul 25, 2006 08:03 AM

I dunno about you guys, but I have found it impossible to find a certain official Soundtrack that WAS released in Japan in 2005 - Samurai Western: Katsugeki Samurai-Dou OST. I asked around if I should rip it, but the 4 SOUND files are in TRS extensions, so I was told it would be too difficult. If anyone can give me some leads on this one, I'd greatly appreciate it! (also Grandia Xtreme would be nice, but I already got a thread on that!)
