I don't have LIVE (well at least not yet), have they released any other Halo 3 related content besides the trailer? (Such as music snipets, wallpaper etc..).

And seeing as I missed the E3 conference did they release any additional details such as multiplayer modes?

Back to Halo 3. Oh um... er well I thought the trailer was pretty nice. Microsoft had a nice showing for games overall this E3. Any speculation as to when Halo 3 will be coming out? I know Bill Gates made that statement about it launching at the same time as the PS3 to take sales away from Sony. I think Gates had to retract that statement and I hope as a result Bungie takes their time and makes this game the way they truly invision it.

I'm sure Project Forerunner was the codename they used for Halo 3 while it was in the early stages of development.

I think it is 2007 around May that the game will be released, I'm glad in a way they didn't do it at the PS3 launch which now gives them time to make all of the finishing touches.

Seeing as I cannot be bothered to finish the first game, and I do not own an Xbox to play the second, are the books any good? They are about £7 each on amazon.co.uk but they don't sell them together in a pack for some reason.

Actually, I think that was some sort of April's Fools joke. The Forerunner project should be some sort of shooter with huge sprawling levels, running on a souped up Halo 2 engine.

I would hate it if they were to rush they game... I mean, look at the 360.. they rushed it for the christmas season and there were so many problems with it...

Actually, one of the main time-consuming thing that put a stick in the wheel of Halo 2's production was the 'fake demo' that they did for the E3 before Halo 2's release.

So, they just did a quick trailer so that they may concentrate their ideas and efforts on the game itself.

So, I'm not worried, whenever a game is complete they do a 'Post-Mortem' document where they explain what went wrong in this production and what could be done to prevent that next time.
