I can't seem to use the shift key for some reason. Whenever I press the shift key it starts cycling through I've last said. It just started doing this right now when I logged on. I tried defaulting settings in the system, but it didn't work. Anyone know a solution to that? Thanks for any help.

No. Your guild card is tied to your hunter license.

I don't have a multimedia keyboard, but I don't have its drivers installed. It just started doing this right now. I have no problems whatsoever with it yesterday.

Should I be levelling my PM? Is it a necessary thing for me to have once I reach higher levels (will it keep me out of groups if i dont have one)

PMs do nothing outside of helping with synthesis. Not sure if they affect drops or not.

Once they get to Lv80 they can fight with you, but they take up a character slot, and it will not happen anytime soon.

k, fixed my problem. Whatever it was, a system restore and reinstall fixed the problem. I was 2 seconds from reinstalling my OS. =/ I'll be on around 8PM PST if anyone wants to meet at Parum Juice Stand, Uni 16.

synthesis is linked to your PM's stats. When your PM evolves, your success rate of synthing increases.

I'm tryin to synth a Hajirod... 5 * , 56% chance of success. A little under an hour left until completion.

I really hope it goes through, darn supplies cost me an arm and a leg >_>;

The question is what items are best for evolving the PM.

Also, I haven't been able to link a technic to any of my weapons. Can they only be linked to rods (which are marked X for my Hunter character, meaning I can't equip them)?

I joined a PT who concentrated on multiple relic runs. I got some some good cash with 600 mesa per run (Rank S every time), along with mission points (which it turns out go towards leveling your job. My Hunter job almost hit lvl 2). I also saw the rage move for the Beast characters, which was pretty cool.

TECHNICs can only be linked to Wands or Rods. So if you cannot use one, then you are not able to use techs.

There is no real "best" thing to feed if you want to raise the PM. The + or - values are determined by the stars of the item.

For an easy way out:

Strike - Fruit Juice (5* synthesis) & 1* Melee Weapons (3 melee weapons per 1 fruit juice)
Range - 5* Traps
Technic - Reverser Discs, since they are the cheapest 2* disc.
Armor - 1* Units

Cheap way for the meseta impaired:
Strike - monomate & 1* melee weapon (1 to 1 ratio)
Range - 2* Traps
Technic - 1* Tech discs
Armor - CAST Parts (by creating casts and getting rid of the parts)
