Wow Randy Orton is suspended?? To think he could have just as easily won the belt in Wrestlemania on sunday.

I must admit that I never like Randy Orton, but he is still an important Heel on Smackdown. JBL's got the US title, so hopefully they move Benoit into the Championship scene to fill the gap.

this is from the SD Spoilers: In Long's office, several members of the roster were assembled. Long said that the KING OF THE RING!~ tournament would be coming back, and that our first match next week would be...Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton! Woot, bringing back the King of the Ring is an awesome move. I wonder if they are just bringing back the KoTR tournament or the pay per view itself. I assume they are going to have it be inter brand....which also makes me wonder are they going to make the winner of it...the #1 contender for the championship? I hope not...because that makes the Royal Rumble seem less important.

Good, I've missed King of the Ring. It'll be great to see it again. I finished watching WM22 yesterday and I must say, the first part all the way up to after the Edge vs. Foley match was better than the rest of the show. Money in the Bank could've been better, but overall I finally saw my favorite type of match again. I'll watch Raw sometime later this week. I was hoping that HHH would've won after putting on an awesome entrance. Oh well...RVD has the MITB...more deserving than someone like Edge.

Smackdowns are taped on Tuesdays (If it's in Chicago, it may have been taped after Raw was on Monday) Orton was suspended like Wed. :)

Alright, I just read up and he starts his suspension next wed. So he gets to play next week too, then he sits at home for 60 days.

According to those close to the situation, Tomko had been told by WWE creative that he and Gene Snitsky were going to be put together as a tag team after WrestleMania 22.

At RAW last night, Tomko was not used while Snitsky teamed with Goldust. The pair is going to be teamed in the future as a 'freaks' tag team.

Tomko immediately approached WWE management and asked why he wasn't going to be pushed. He requested his release from the company and it has been granted this morning.

WWE.com will likely make a statement shortly.
