Once there was an elephant who tried to use a telephant... No... I mean an elephone who tried to use the telephone. Dear me, I am not certain quite, that even now I've got it right. Howe'r it was he got his trunk entangled in the telephunk, the more he tried to get it free the louder buzzed the telephee. I fear I had better drop the song, of the elephop and the telephong.

Suteeki? Soretomo Keeki?

?

?

So I finally, finally, finally, FINALLY finished the whole "You're Under Arrest" series. Seventy eight friggin' episodes in all. It took me about 2 months to get through it.
However, I definitely recommend it. The anime did not seem to drag on at all, except the first couple episodes at the beginning of the second season.

Strike Otoko is hilarious, as is to be expected.

The only thing that they left hanging which bugs me is which way Aoi Futaba swings. That was never answered; although I think by all accounts, it is safe to assume that he's a fag afterall.

(For those that don't know, Aoi Futaba is pretty much a cross-dresser cop, who manages to be more feminine than most of the other women at the station, and possibly better looking. In the second season, the phrase "I have the body of a man, but the heart of a woman" is repeated many times.)

Next up - Mahoraba: Heartful Days.

Suppressed Sorrow?
So, I got a text message last night that my dad had to put the family dog to sleep. This was because he had slipped discs in his back, and the operation to fix this on dogs has a very low chance of success.

So, right now I am feeling that I should be sad, but I'm not really feeling sorrow. I'm more indifferent to the fact, like its just another day in life.

My apathy is very unsettling.

Huzzah!
triumphant
So, I recently bought on Ebay a good gateway tablet PC. ^___^

I am pretty pumped to get this thing. It is soooo going to make piano practicing easier. Now I don't have to print out shitloads of sheets just to practice. Just prop it up and press the left-right buttons to change the pages.

What is especially nice is that it has a 14.1" monitor instead of a dinky 12" or smaller.
What is also nice is that it only cost me $780, and that includes the full 3-year warrantee and the 5-hour, 12-cell battery.

Currently Playing: Moszkowski - 27 Etudes

Does anyone else find this the least bit odd?

I'm almost arguing for evolution here.

So I saw Millenium Actress last night
And Spatula either overexaggerated the sorrow level of the movie, or he's just a pussy.
I must admit that I got a little choked up by it, and it had a superbly crafted story, but certainly it was not bawl-worthy.
Texhnolyze was more sorrowful than that.

Spoiler:
This lack of sorrow might be partially due to my more existential outlook on life.

Also, I'm going to Borders tonight to buy the 3rd and 4th issues of Azumanga Daioh. ^___^

An update I suppose
:eyebrow:
So, a lot has happened over this past weekend.

I watched the entire Texhnolyze series, and I gotta say, I am very shocked that aBe Yoshitoshi, creator of Haibane Renmei and Serial Experiments Lain, created such a gruesome and depressing series.

On a positive note, I got off my ass and bought the first 2 editions of the Azumanga Daioh manga, and I have to say that is one of my best Borders purchases in a long time. I also was tempted to buy the Yotsubato manga they had too, but I figured it was kinda pointless.

Also, on Saturday, I cruised Woodward Ave. and saw all sorts of kickass cars and hotrods(funny, I almost typed in "iroiro no" instead of "all sorts of"). XD Its gonna be even more awesome just driving around the area after Memorial Day, surrounded by many varieties of sexy cars. Woodward Dream Cruise anyone? ^___^

Also awesome over the weekend was my hanging out with my old best friend when I used to live here. He is not part of a band however, so it was a bit awkward, since there were a few other people hanging out there who I did not know at all.

Hmm, work has also been good. I have been expanding the designs of our products to now encompass the 1" and 1/4" connectors. Its going pretty slow however. :\

So that is all that is going on in my life. Exciting, huh?

EDIT: Also, celebrating a new ava/sig combo. No connection between the 2 really. However, my avatar reminded me of Phoenix Wright, and thus my custom user title is "I OBJECT!"
