And there's quite a bitching coming, so grab a bag of popcorn and put on your "Time to laugh at someone else's problems" face.
Aight, so for the past couple days, things at the arcade have not been very smooth. The emo-stoner-dipshit-stupidchildren population has dramatically increased by 45%, and frankly, I can't stand it. And what makes it suck even more, they can't play games wortha shit.
I see dozens of these people fighting in the arcade, I see dozens of these people leaving shit all over the back area, I see dozens of these people picking the same goddamn 4 songs on DDR over and over (Speed Over Beethoven, Butterfly, Dam Dariram, Daikenkai), sucking at the songs, and doing more damage to our pads than a fat man who weighs more than the recommended weight limit.
And apparently, nobody has the goddamn balls to tell these people they suck, or to stop being dumbasses, because they don't wanna get their asses kicked or anything.
And why the hell can't they bring money to the arcade? One minute I see a kid walk into the arcade, 2 minutes later, I'm in the back playing MVC2 and he's asking me for tokens, Same Damn Kid!! So I told him no, I don't have any.
10 minutes later, after I lose a match on my last token, I go grab another George's worth. He's still waiting around the DDR machine apparently for someone to feel sorry for him. I go to play Marvel again (still don't have 3rd Strike, damnit), and he comes back to me, asking me again. Again, "No, I Don't!!"
Dipshit: But you just went get some. I saw you.
Me: Yeah, I went get some for ME!! This is MY money that I worked to get.
Dipshit: So why can't you share?
Me: 1, you're a smelly child. 2, you're an annoying child. 3, you're broke and no one feels sorry for you. And 4, because I don't give money to people that I don't know.
It gets slightly better, because my friend, Reggie, stuck his nose in it and went stand behind the kid to make him feel like he's in trouble.
Reggie: Listen, kid, he said no, and when he says no, he means run away or he will use his albino demon powers to send you to the depths of hell where you will be raped in the ass by evil horny birds on a minutely basis.
It gets better, because the kid went get Dale, the manager. (He was working the front counter at the time) Dale comes to the back.
Dale: Sim, this kid been bothering you?
Me: Yeah, he is. I told him I wasn't giving him any tokens, and he wouldn't stop begging.
BAM!! Kid gets kicked out. Dale don't take that kinda crap. You ain't got money, you don't belong.
However, today, things went from good to bad, in an annoying way. Some other kid hogs the DDR machine like crazy, so I'm like "Whatever, let him suck on our already damaged pads. I've still got Pump to play." Sure enough, he did suck. He couldn't pass "We Will Rock You" on Beginner, which has to be the easiest stepchart out of all the charts within the 240 songs.
Then, when I go to play Marvel, he comes up to me asking about freeze arrows. "You stay on the arrow until it disappears, stupid." So he goes try again, sucks again. Then he has the goddamn idea to ask me what the hell is he doing wrong.
Me: For starters, you suck. What more can I say? You keep playing We Will Rock You on Beginner, and every time, you do worse. Now get the hell away from me. You're starting to stink up the joint.
So I igg him and go back to my match. 3 minutes later, I hear him saying "Yeah, I'm the champ. I'm the best."
No no no no no. My ears are not deceiving me. He said those exact words. So I go look at his screen, and I have to laugh, because he got a D ranking (instead of the usual E).
Dumbass: What are you laughing at, boy?
Me: Isn't it obvious? You!!
Dumbass: You're no better.
Angst bomb about to detonate in my head, but I managed to cool off. I decide, it's time to shut this kid up. So I decide to play, but then he asks to play with me. Fine, I'll let him waste his money and then embarrass him. He decided to copy me and put himself on Heavy, then before I can react, he picks We Will Rock You.
He stepped off the machine after the first 3 steps. I laughed while trying my best to play on our damaged pads. I passed with luck.
2nd song, my choice this time. I chose Luv To Me (Disco Mix) He stepped off after the first step. Again, I'm laughing and playing. Though this time, my buddy Exo (who brought me up in the Pump world) had to save me cuz my pad was failing on me miserably, so he took over the kid's side. Final Stage - Magic Doors. Again, kid walks off after first step, and Exo takes over, though this time I didn't need him to save me. So I get off afterwards, and the kid is still standing there.
Dumbass: You made it too hard.
Me: Ex-fucking-cuse me?? That is some of the easiest shit I've ever done. Don't tell me it was too hard. S'not my fault you SUCK!!!
Dumbass: Forget you. I'm still better.
Watching him put 50 cents after 50 cents after 50 cents failing WWRY over and over on Beginner was so joyous, and so annoying, because I've always hated that song. Not even A'ing Dignity no bar on Hard could overcome the annoyance of WWRY over and over. (It's also like that for the other 4 songs)
Then he decides he and a friend are gonna play Oni mode. Now this was really interesting, so me, Weez, Reggie, Exo, and Melee are just sittin there watching him while puttin down money on how long it takes for him to fail, not his partner, just him. I took the bet on 5 arrows (you miss 4, it's Game Over) SWEET VICTORY!! He got one Great then lost it all. Mega crack-up by all of us. He started crying and said he was gonna go get the person working the arcade.
Weez: Kinda hard to do that when the person in charge tonight is standing here laughing at you.
Dumbass: Fuck y'all!!
Weez: Ah, get out. That ain't tolerated here.
Dumbass: But he (points at me) was doing it.
Weez: I didn't hear him. I heard you. Now, out!!
It so made my day. That and a trip to World of Wings...
wings... now why does that word make me feel uneasy now?
Oh, yeah, now I remember, the FUCKING PARMESAN GARLIC!!! FROM BUFFALO WILD WINGS IN CHICAGO!!
You know, 2 weeks ago, my mom got on their asses about it, and they said they would file a claim or some shit like that. 2 weeks, nearly 3, have passed, and NOTHING'S HAPPENED!!!
Oh, yeah, also, SuperNOVA's been pushed back, again.
Maybe a lil Rumble Roses XX or 3rd Strike might cheer me up.
