Totally should have done it the way I wanted to. I had a can of pop with me and I would have opened it and gone "Oh, don't mind me. Continue on." Would have been the perfect effect. Well, having a bag of chips or popcorn would have made it even better.

Not too certain if I actually did cockblock them, but I'm sure future poking around will confirm it (FOR BRAWL.)

Actually, I'd like to Know How I Got on This Mailinglist

Found this in my school e-mail inbox.

I have no answer as to how this could actually get there. I do not own or use any Apple products at home or school, and have no real interest in them. Why would I ever be interested in OS X 10.5?

In other news, typing an essay for Japanese (in Japanese,) sucks major ass. What kind of topic is "Me in Ten Years," anyway? I don't even know what I'm doing now.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann BEST SOUND - Who Even Needs Nipposei

I put up my rip of the Gurren Lagann OST on my "temporary" FTP server, because there is no such thing as a free upload service that allows 600 MB files. Maybe I'll have less problems than when people tried using it for SimCity 4.

The filenames are romanjized for maximum compatibility among different computer
setups, however, I have the tags in Japanese. In case anyone needs them for
whatever reason, I have provided both the Romanjized and original Japanese (in
the Microsoft Word file, I assume mostly everyone has Microsoft Word or OpenOffice
to read it,) track names.

I was also originally planning to scan the entire included booklet myself, but,
it's A) at least 40 pages, which would be at least 20 images I'd have to scan and
touch up, and B) (what I think is) nicely done (like the entire Limited Edition
package,) and I can't personally bring myself to potentially bending the entire
thing out of shape just to provide scans. So I have only done the discs (including
the extra DVD for lols,) the front and back of the box, the front and back of
the booklet and both covers of the jewel case. If you want a complete set of scans,
Nipponsei did a decent job of the booklet. There's also always buying it (it's
really nice, but maybe that's because I like like the art and stuff.)

Today Was An Awesome Day Indeed

So after a bleh day of classes, I decided to go home early today! I had a lawn to mow, I spent too much money this week (this is a longer story that I might explain later,) so I didn't want to potentially spend more, and honestly, slothing around at home is less boring than slothing around on campus.

Today was a good day to decide on coming home early.

I get home and put away my dirty dish from the lunch I brought with me, and I see a box sitting on the kitchen table. Because I knew I was getting EPIC PACKAGE, I had to see if it was mine.

And indeed it was. It was EPIC PACKAGE. From Hong Kong!

I take my box and open it furiously, I know what gold lies within.

In it is what I was waiting for about a month for: Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! 2 (which I added onto my Play-Asia order,) and the Gurren Lagann OST.

First things first, Ouendan 2 is all kinds of awesome, all of these kinds being exactly what I expected. I have to get used to songs (I don't have nearly the same amount of exposure to the soundtrack like I did with Ouendan,) but it's still awesome and I'll love it even more as I get better.

But what I was really looking for was this mofo:

This was, to me, worth every penny. All the pictures, scans and words cannot describe how sexy this package is. I just absolutely love it, and am I glad I went and got a physical copy of the soundtrack.

Everything about it is just very well done and presentable, from it being in a box, the 40+ page booklet (which contains tracklists, lyrics, an interview with Taku Iwasaki and a brief synopsis of the Gurren Lagann story,) and even the DVD with textless openings is a nice touch.

Of course, I ripped it onto my computer in FLAC after listening to the discs. I will be sharing this at a later time. There's still I few things I need to finish scanning, the jewel case covers, and the front and back of the booklet (I will not be scanning the booklet in it's entirety, since it is too much work, and I don't want to bend it that much.)

It would be convenient if I could torrent it on something GFF-related, but I suppose megaupload or any such other upload service will work temporarily until Blah can get a torrent tracker solution he's happy with.

In other news I got a fishtank and fish for my room. Why? I don't know. My friends were getting some for their dorm rooms and I went "lulz there's no way I'll be getting myself fish" and well, I ended up doing just that.

So I've basically spent too much money. I think I'm just gonna walk up and down the main strip of my town throwing in job appications to everywhere. Flipping burgers, whatever, I don't care. Money's money, I want/need stuff and I have to stop being lazy.

And yes, in case you were wondering, I did, in fact get to mowing the lawn today amongst getting EPIC PACKAGE.
