On other recent acquisitions.
I also got a new phone since it was time to renew my contract.

Got me one of them Samsung Rogue things. It's pretty nifty.

I got myself a new toy.
A new toy to the tune of a new computer. I replaced my machine of 7 years with the first pre-build computer I've ever owned, a Dell Studio XPS Desktop.

Compared to my old Athlon XP 3000+ machine, this thing screams. It's got an Intel i7 920 at 2.7GHz, 4GB of 1066MHz DDR3 RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 4850 card. So far the only thing that's dropped below 60FPS that I've thrown at it is Fallout 3 at Ultra High and 4x MSAA when wandering the wastelands, and even then it only drops to 40 or so. Burnout Paradise runs at high settings, 8x MSAA, and this thing doesn't even blink.

Happy birthday, merry christmas, and happy next year's birthday, me!

I've never seen anything like this before.
And I bet you haven't, either.

How many maintenance crew people does it take to change a smoke alarm battery?
About twenty. They shout across the apartment at each other, call in more crew members, and test-trip the alarms numerous times.

It also takes them about 45 minutes.

Jesus Christ.

Gamerip: Sekaiju no Meikyuu II (Etrian Odyssey 2)
Spoiler:

The second installment in the series, MeiQ 2 offers more of the patience-testing dungeon-crawling that captured the hearts and the hair of previous players. The soundtrack is once again composed by Koshiro Yuzo, and features tracks similar in style to the first game (As well as a few recurring ones). Overall a very solid soundtrack. I can't wait for the official release and the Super Arrange album in a few months.

Special thanks to Lacerta for providing a save file with the Sound Test unlocked.
