I'm so relieved it's Friday. |

It’s been an extremely hectic week that included many ups and downs that have left me feeling pretty exhausted.
My weekend plans are as follows: Tonight I’m going out with a group of friends from work. I have no idea where we’re supposed to be going, but as long as there’s music and beer – and there will be – it’ll be fine with me. I’m not a huge fan of clubs or bars, primarily because they’re so loud and smoky but tonight I’ll be contributing to the smokiness as I still have half a pack of clove cigarettes left over from the meet. After I finish this pack I am NOT buying another one, and I mean that. Seriously. =/
Tomorrow morning I’m taking Wyatt to Books-A-Million for his Saturday morning Yu-Gi-Oh duel. These are fun because he loves going and I get to sit and read and drink coffee for three hours. Last time some lady sitting on the sofa across from me talked my ears off, but this time I have a plan that involves my iPod. I might not even turn it on, but most people get the hint that you don’t want to be chatted up when you’re wearing one. Sometimes I think I’d like to work on this anti-social streak I have, but the truth is that I probably never will.
Tomorrow night Deborah (my sister) and I are taking our kids to see Ratatouille. It looks pretty good for a kid’s movie, and who am I kidding, anyway? Those are the only ones I ever get to see in theatres. I also may be able to squeeze in a couple of hours with Wyatt at the pool tomorrow if I play my cards right. If it’s 97 degrees again, though, I’m just not sure I can handle it.
Sometime between now and Sunday I want to watch two DVDs that I bought yesterday (The Terminal and The Ladykillers). I’ve seen them both before, but it’s been a while.
Oh, and I really, really need to go car shopping. Randy has determined that we need to sell the 4Runner like, yesterday, and he’s probably right. That thing is huge and a terrible gas-guzzler, and I'm not going to be able to afford the gas or the payments anymore. I’m thinking about a 2004 or 2005 Honda Accord or something like that, but I don’t know (or care) much about cars. All I know is that my Katamari Prince decal had better come off in one piece and stick to my new car window, whatever it ends up being. Any suggestions?
