How my notebook and Germans amazed me! |
|
|
Me: "Mmm... let's listen to some music." *puts playlist on*
Microsoft: "Haha, let's stop after the first track and wait half a minute before starting the second track."
Me: "What? Weird. Let me close WinAmp and try again." *closes Winamp and tries again*
Microsoft: "Haha, he's gonna get it again."
Me: "Weird. Let's re-install WinAmp then." *re-installs Winamp*
Microsoft: "Haha, ain't gonna work buddy."
Me: "Ugh. I'll just uninstall all of WinAmp, remove the plug-ins and everything, and do a disc-check." *uninstalls, disc-check, reboots*
Microsoft: "Checking discs sir. No problems there."
Me: "Great, then start Windows."
Microsoft: "..."
Me: "Hello?"
Microsoft: "..."
Me: "HELLO?!"
Microsoft: "Haha."
*Reboot*
Me: "Still nothing."
Microsoft:
Me: "Ok... Safe Mode then"
Microsoft:
Me: "Bah..." *boots using special disc, copies all the important files and then inserts the recovery-CD that this German manifactor made*
Germans: "Hello, select deine language bitte."
Me: "Dutch."
Germans: "Ok. What do you want to do?" (translated for you)
Me: "Recover my notebook, it's pretty messed up."
Germans: "Sure." *takes 4 seconds* "Enjoy"
*Notebook reboots*
*Windows starts, works but all my files are still there*
Magic, I tell you!
I'm wondering though, how can this be true? It took only 4 seconds to recover things, but it works perfect AND all the files are there =\
