Week of budget-food
This week I'll try to eat for the least money possible. Why? Am I short on money? Not at all, but I just want to see how low I can go.

What did I get today?

- 2 baquettes (2 pieces) - 2x 0,17 = 0,34
- pistolets (6 pieces) - 0,17
- sausages (10 pieces) - 0,49
- Paté - 0,59

Total: E 1,59

So what's for lunch? A baquette with paté.
What's for dinner? Pistolets with the sausages.

Suggestions are welcome.

Who remembers NYR?
Last Activity: Yesterday 11:13 PM

Compared to what GFF is nowadays, and since he is 'still around', I'm wondering who still knows him? Or anything regarding the days before bobo went beserk, OO was in jail and Sir VG wasn't caught yet?

So I saw the latest Harry Potter movie
What a disgrace compared to the book.

Spoiler:
* Scenes from the very last part of the book swappen to the beginning (when Luna Lovegood tells Harry about how her mother died, now it takes place in the foret)
* St. Mungo's Hospital completely left out
* Not much from the beginning of the book to begin with
* Where is the screaming picture in the house of Black?
* Grawp is now much more friendly
* I didn't see Malfoy much at all
* Ron and Hermoine don't become prefects
* Quidditch is left out, in fact Harry, Fred and George don't get banned from using brooms at all
* The friend of Cho doesn't sell Harry out, but now Cho does because of a potion Snape created
* In the book Snape created a fake potion, so that shouldn't have worked to begin with
* George & Fred don't leave after creating the swamp, but when the fireworks go off
* In the book George & Fred don't do it during an exam, it even states they don't want to bother students when they do their pranks
* Harry reads Snape's mind by countering the spell Snape tries on Harry
* Harry & co don't check various rooms when at the ministry before finding the right one
* Lucious doesn't get the prophecy in the book
* The prophecy is told my Dumblewhore to Harry, instead of the other way around
* I don't recall the whole room with prophecies getting destroyed in the book
* There is no centaur replacing Hagrid
* The centaurs aren't aggressive against Hagrid that we know off
* The ministry didn't take land from the centaurs in the book, if I recall correctly
* Dumblewhore didn't send a howler to warn the 'godfathers' of Harry
* In the beginning of the book, Black tells much more regarding the Order then is done in the movie
* The servant of Black (forgot his name) sells them out in the book, nothing is mentioned about this in the movie
* Black contacts Harry much more in the book
* Harry tries to use the mirror Black gave him in the book
* In the book Harry tries various things to get Black back before giving up
* Harry isn't as emo
* Tons of other things, most likely

Is there anything good about this movie? Yes, the soundtrack and...

Luna Lovegood.

New WinAmp
I got a message to update my WinAmp, so to get rid of that, I updated it. The thing came with a new skin, and I tried it. I'm in love.

And when made a bit smaller:

Just the first frame would have been enough for me.

Just finished Half-Life 2: Episode Two (56k warning, contains spoilers)
Best. Half-Life. Ever.

And now, pictures.

So... enjoy some Portal as well! (most of the time it's just about what the AI says)

(yes, that's the same image three times, but it's important!)

(it can't speak )

And I had my hair cut!

The beauty of Half-Life (56k heavy, may contain spoilers)
Playing chapter 3 of Half-Life 2: Episode Two now. It seems the Orange Box brought so much joy into my home.

Half-Life 2 ~ Already got the original (thank you IGN), but I gave it away to Captain Desu. Finished it ages ago, obviously.
Half-Life 2: Episode One ~ Didn't get this one officially. I downloaded it by illegal means and finished it. It was a bit too short and didn't add much to the Half-Life universe. Sure, the story progressed, but the expansion felt short and there were no new enemies.
Portal ~ This game was announced just after Prey got released, and in my opinion Prey set the standard and is still superior brain-fucking-wise. Obviously it's a short game, since it's more of a demo of how the portal system works, but nevertheless the story is nice, the credits are the best I ever saw and the game was funny, with the emotional robots.

O wow, FireFox just crashed, and to my surprise this text was still there when I restored it. Yay Mozilla!

Team Fortress 2 ~ Played this on my laptop at school today, just to check it out. It felt a bit hectic, and I have a long way before I'll be familiar with the classes, but I think I'll have some fun with this one.
Half-Life 2: Episode Two The whole point of this entry. I'm in chapter 3 now and so far the game is beautiful. The story is going along really nice, there is tons of action, new enemies and beautiful new environments. Of course there's the usual zombie-infested town, but it's not as bad as it was before.

And now, screenshots! (if ImageShack would now kindly move the fuck on)

Free copy of Half-Life 2
Response to: Free Copy of Half-Life 2 and HL2: Episode 1 -- SOLD by Gechmir

I have the same deal here. I have a copy of Half-Life 2 to give away for free through Steam, since I already owned the game, and the Orange Box also contains it. Remember I'll also show favoritism, since it's just one copy.
