After voicing my opinion that Ippo manga/anime is not as good as some hype and that boxing is apemans fun, I got banned from a certain channel on the grounds that I'm being a retard. Let's clear this up:

Boxing is a idiotic sport (like many other imo), which shows grown people hitting each other silly, and quite possibly/likely give them permanent damage to their bodies through broken parts, torn muscles and whatnot, but most importantly slowly but surely brain damage. Why is such a thing even allowed? Old sport you might think? Oh yes, it started with a tyrant having a taste for men killing each other with fists.. some origin that is. Refined? Mmm, better ways to hit the opponent and it takes a bit more time to hurt them.
So what are the fans watching it for? Blood, smashed up faces? Skill? "O did you see that right hook?" "yeah, I've seen it 346 times so far" "=o" "=o".
Or maybe it's the little monkey ancestor in their heads going nuts for violence.
